This 4-bedroom log cabin was perfect for our family's needs. The serenity of the Berkshires coupled with all of the fun things to do: hiking, swimming in lakes and ponds, Jiminy Peak Adenture Park, Tanglewood listening to wonderful music under the stars, etc.

This is a great property, bedrooms and bath were well appointed. Great room was great including the fireplace. We cooked in and dined out. The kitchen is mostly updated which we appreciated. The stove has seen better days but overall we were very satisfied.

I will start with the good-great location, excellent communication from the company, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. However, dishwasher was not great, screens were either missing or the main one didn't close at all and the entire porch and main area needs to be painted as it's run down looking and chipping. We are grateful that our dogs were allowed which was another positive, but overall this place is very corporate like, not very warm or homey and clearly run by a company.

We’re sorry a few maintenance details didn’t meet expectations, and your feedback, including your thoughts on making the home feel warmer, has been shared with the team responsible for the home. Thank you for the balanced review, and we’d love the chance to welcome you and your dogs back.

Cabin in the woods

The cabin is perfect. It’s close to town but remote at the same time. It’s cozy and has all the amenities you may need. I don’t think there’s a better place to stay near Great Barrington.

Great ski house

We stayed here for a long weekend and it’s a great house. 4 mins from butternut mountain which was perfect for us. We had a bit of a mini snowstorm while there and had a small issue getting in the driveway but when we called asking for someone to plow they showed up within minutes. Very responsive and helpful checkin and checkout as well.

We only have the nicest things to say about our stay. There were so many generous and thoughtful touches. Everything was done with great care and love. From the beautiful welcome treats, incredibly plush towels, beach chairs, extra toiletries, even take away cups for the coffee. There was no detail overlooked. We were blown away by how beautiful the property was. It's the perfect beach house, everything was light and airy. Great location just minutes from the water and the house was immaculate. The hosts were incredibly communicative and accommodating ! Have stayed in many places all over the world and this property is certainly a gem ! Our entire multi generational family had a great time !

Perfect Getaway

We had such a wonderful long weekend away that this home. Everything was exactly as pictured. Home was clean and so welcoming. Location was perfect for all that Great Barrington has to offer. The wraparound deck and fireplace made it all the more special. Communication was excellent and we got quick replies to any questions that came up. I would definitely recommend staying here and would happily return.

Nice house

Nice and clean house. Needs a little touch up, you can see stains on the ceiling where roof was leaking. Deck’s rails were rough and it was easy to get splintered. The rest was perfect: clean sheets, towels, plenty of dishes We liked it very much

Great for a getaway

The space was very comfortable and very well equipped. Everything was clean. The beds were great and very comfortable! Loved the memory foam king bed in the large bedroom. Only one real disappointment was that the place was advertised as having two bedrooms with a king sized bed. However only the master bedroom is a king. The other bedroom actually is a full sized mattress - not a king. Some areas have a bit of wear and tear (cabinetry) but other than that a great place!!

50 Years

It was our 50 year wedding anniversary and we rented the house to sleep 6 adults and 3 kids. The size of the facility was perfect and the large deck and wooded surroundings gave us the exact environment we were looking for to mark our milestone with those most precious to us. The only suggestion I could make is the deck needs some upkeep (staining). We'll be back.
