Great House with close proximity to Excellent Ski Mountains
Loved this rental. Lot’s of space with fun decor in beautiful Vermont location. One hour from Jay Peak and very close to Stowe and Smugglers notch. We cooked in every night but town was only 12 minutes from the house with 2 major supermarkets. I recommend this rental for a comfortable stay with all the amenities!
This was the perfect getaway location for a quick trip to VT to ski both Jay Peak and Stowe. This is our second trip to this house and I hope that we have many more return trips. The house is clean, the sound system, pool table and movie theater are perfect for apres ski activities with friends.
Beautiful home. Quiet and secluded. Short drive to Stowe. Perfect for our family getaway. Well equipped and clean. Would recommend!!! Thank you for a great weekend!
No hot tub / spa as was advertisedPlatform step in movie theater is a safety hazard, especially in dark. Kitchen utensils not well stocked ! Light switches not labeled allowed us to play guess which light Privacy was wonderful. Showers were very good. Bath rooms available very good We enjoyed our week very well !
The house was perfect for our family of 6 for a ski trip to Stowe. The drive to and from the resort to go skiing during the day was easy. And we had a comfortable and relaxing time in the house when we returned, watching a movie, playing pool, reading and just hanging out. There was plenty of room for all of us and the house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
We spent 3 days enjoying the fall weather on the huge back porch. Enjoyed a movie one evening in the home theatre and played a little pool to pass time after dinner. Only 20-30 minute drive from all different types of attractions. This house can really accommodate large groups with multiple rooms and huge refrigerator and freezer. We hope to come back in the future!!
This property is great for a nice romantic getaway for 2 or a great family gathering. Loved the house and all of the amazing little touches. Enjoyed the romantics wine room and the screening room! Watched movies and enjoyed the captain chairs and surround sound. Played several rounds of pool lots of fun. It’s quiet yet a easy ride to Smugglers Notch. Even if you don’t ski enjoy Smugglers resort cute stores and nice restaurants. Highly recommend this home and hope to get back in the near future. Thanks for the stay!
We had a really nice stay at this 4 bedroom house last weekend. It has a pool table, a theater with 6 movie chairs and a large deck. It’s close to Stowe so very convenient. There is a supermarket in the nearby town so groceries were easy to get. My only suggestion is that he label the light switches. There are so many that
is tricky to find the one you are looking for.
As we drove up to the home, we were greeted with lanterns that lined the driveway that lead us to the home. We really enjoyed our stay at Anton's home. The property is very spacious with many amenities - starting with a very well stocked chef kitchen with a huge refrigerator and freezer, pots, pans, plates, cups, wine glasses, soap, paper towels, dish towels and anything else you may to make a meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and well appointed with many pillows, towels and linens. The pool table and movie theater was a bonus and could have spent another few days in the lovely home. We also had wonderful weather with 4-5" of fresh powder which made our stay a wonderful experience. Thank you for having us and we will definitely look to stay in Anton's home again!
We could not have been more happy with our stay in this home. Anton was very responsive and check in was simple. The home is extremely spacious and in great condition. It is the perfect place for anyone looking to feel off the grid, but also have options should you feel like getting out. We used the house as a hole base for hiking and brewery trips around the area. We loved coming back to the house each day and feeling the peace and isolation thst the property provides. It was also our first trip with our dog and he seemed to be as relaxed as his parents throughout the trip. We would recommend this home and would book again.
We had the pleasure of staying at this expansive property for our family's annual ski trip. We arrived to a large two car garage that allowed us to enter into a mud room area. There is a huge living area and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a few big dinners. All of the bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms even had heated floors. There is a jacuzzi/hot tub in the master bath. The beds were super comfortable. There is an awesome theater room downstairs. The owner, Anton, was quick to answer any questions that arose. The home is a bit remote but we prefer that and it was a quick drive (10-15 minutes) to the towns of Morrisville or Stowe. We will definitely look to stay here again! Looking forward to next year!!
My family and I loved the house. My son especially loved the theater room and all the movies to chose from.
My mom and I loved the showers and my son loved the master tub.
We brought our dogs and they were so happy with all the space to run wild.
Talking with with owners was easy and they responded very quickly.
All the places we ate were awesome. My only regret was we never made it to tour the Ben and Jerry’s building. Next time! Hopefully.
I would love to spend another week at this beautiful house.
Thank you for letting us this time.
My friends and I were looking for a large home that was close to Smuggler's Notch and Stowe for disc golf and mountain biking and we found it here. Not only is it secluded with plenty of space outdoors for activities, but also has tons to do inside if the weather was bad which it rained each night.
The pool table was so much fun ("Stumpy" is the name of the small pool cue BTW), and the theater room with a collection of over 100 movies was awesome.
The beds and baths were also well appointed, and the nicest of any rental property I've stayed in.
Close to Smuggs, Stowe, Van Trapp and Alchemist breweries, and the Ben and Jerry's factory.
We will definitely utilize this spot again the next time we come up to Vermont regardless of the time of year (although I question getting out in heavy snow due to location).

Thank you so much for the great review! Always appreciated. You and your friends are welcome back any time, including in the winter months. Our amazing property management crew typically has everything plowed and shoveled no later than mid-morning after a big snowfall and the town is equally diligent in maintaining the road that fronts us. You still need four wheel drive for the whole area in general, though!
This house is/was absolutely stunning! The host, Anton was amazing as well! We took our two kids up to VT to see Ben & Jerrys & Cabot, which we did, but each time we left we could not wait to get back to the house!
You literally can get lost in this house. My family's favorite part was the movie theater. I could not figure out how to get the lights in the wine cellar to work, but we just went in to check it out so it made no difference to us. Everything in the house was perfect, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, you name it!!
Huge thank you to Anton for making our vacation one that we will never forget! To have a house such as this, and allow pets is unheard of!
Thank you so much!
I almost do not want to write this review on fear it will encourage others to rent and will make it more difficult for my family to come back! This property was fabulous. The house is nicely tucked away off the road with a large yard. Which we loved because we always travel with our dog. The house itself actually looks somewhat small from the outside, but don't let it fool you. Once inside it is a large space for all the people and activities you may have planned for your trip. The kitchen was well appointed considering it's a rental and so were the bathrooms, with plenty of towels for everyone. We enjoyed the pool room and the theater. The beds were very comfortable and the Jacuzzi tub was exactly what the doctor ordered after a day on the slopes.
This was a perfect retreat for me and my family!
Thank you for sharing such a cool property with us.
The bummer of this review is that if the downstairs didn’t smell of the septic tank and the second bathroom didn’t leak above the commode, all would have been grand. Alas the stink of the septic system ruled out the use of one of the downstairs bedrooms. The owner mentioned that this had happened in the past and if I had brought it up there is a fix, however there is something said for being made aware of the potential issue. Suffering through this is not recommended.

This review is from a guest that seemed to be unhappy with the cost of their stay because they waited until a couple of days after the end of their stay to claim a number of issues with the property and demand a refund. I would like to assure anyone reading this review that the issues raised here do not exist - and refer you to all the other reviews of the property.
If you ever experience any issues during your stay, please do not hesitate to get in touch immediately - we have a very friendly property management team that can address most issues within a couple of hours. There is always the possibility of unforseen circumstances, as is the case with any large property in a remote location. Our goal is to ensure you have a wonderful time and to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
What a wonderful house to rent - will definitely book this again!
Anton was super responsive/helpful with our questions. We stayed over Christmas and due to a storm, power was out for 26hrs in the area - this house has a full house generator and we stayed on full power the entire time! How lucky we were - I will now always rent a house with a generator in Vermont in the winter. The setup of the house has a perfect layout for a large gathering - with easy flow in and out of the pool room and kitchen/living area. The theater has a popcorn machine - such fun! There is radiant heating in the floors - kept our feet warm! The backyard is wooded and easy to hike up to the top of a hill for a panoramic view. We also used the fire-pit in the snow, keeping us warm while outside! The location has lots of privacy and quiet. Perfect getaway!
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention - CORK Restaurant and Natural Wine Shop in Stowe - a must visit and has a fabulous wine selection and extremely knowledgeable wine director - Katie.

Nice location
This was our first time in Vermont and we really looked forward to our stay at this property. We were excited for the remote location in the hopes of seeing more of the area's wildlife! Also that it wasn't too far from the attractions we were planning on seeing.
We were disappointed that this VRBO was not the cleanest and needed some updating. The first night we took a shower in the master bedroom, the seal on the shower door was partially hanging off, which caused water to leak out of the shower onto the floor. We had to wash & dry the carpets because of this. Also the shower floor had cracks in it and what appeared to be mold around the inside floor.
There was also a "musty" smell to the house. The smell of the kitchen chair pads was disgusting!
My brother dropped something on the floor of his bedroom and could not believe how dusty and dirty the floor was under the bed.
We think this house has a lot of potential if it would be cleaner and better maintained.
Just an FYI - we had stayed in another VRBO in Maine the week before and it was very well maintained and was excellent in cleanliness.
