In the hamlet Sant'Andrea 5 km from the centre of Cassine, 10 km from the centre of Acqui Terme, on top of a hill, 60 km from the sea, in the countryside. Private: garden 200 m2, swimming pool (40 m2, seasonal availability: 15.May. - 15.Sep.). Outdoor shower, garden furniture, barbecue. In the complex: breakfast room, storage room for bicycles, heating available only from 01.Oct. - 30.Apr.. Breakfast (extra). Parking (for 2 cars), public parking 50 m. Nett aber...
Das Haus ist an sich schön, aber relativ heruntergekommen und alles andere als sauber. Es fehlt auch an Ausstattung (z.B. gibt es trotz großer Fläche vor dem Haus keine Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien - außer Biertische, auch fehlt es in der Küche an passdendem Kochgeschirr)... Auch ist der Pool nicht exklusiver Bestandteil des Hauses sondern wird ebenfalls von den Ferienwohnungen im Agricultura der Eigentümer verwendet.In einem Bett hatten wir Bettwanzen...

Verdient beter.
Wil je eens wat anders dan Toscane dan is Cassine een aanrader om de regio Piëmont te verkennen. Een oase van rust die enkel verstoord wordt door het luiden van de klokken en de wijnboeren die 's ochtends naar de wijngaarden trekken. Alleen, dit oude palazzo verdient beter dan hoe het nu wordt aangeboden. Geen warm water in de keuken, nauwelijks wifi ontvangst, geen airco waardoor de 4 slaapkamers op de 2de verdieping onbruikbaar zijn. Heel veel defecte verlichting, het huis werd niet netjes aangeboden op de eerste dag. Het (privé)zwembad ligt wat verder van het huis, aan de aanpalende XXX waardoor het voor de gasten daar nooit echt helemaal duidelijk is dat ze er geen gebruik van konden maken. Het zwembad werd wel eens gekuist en aangevuld maar omdat de juiste tools niet aanwezig zijn bleef het altijd vuil en dat is jammer. Een tafeltje buiten, zodat we een extra keuze hadden tussen aan-het-zwembad- zitten of binnen-zijn was zeker een meerwaarde geweest. Vakantie is toch ook eens buiten eten of 's avonds onder de sterren een boek lezen, niet? XXX had ons met haar enthousiasme ingepalmd en we konden met veel vragen bij haar terecht. Maar het lijkt ons dat de eigenaars het pand gewoon maar eens verhuren om geen leegstandsbelasting te betalen. Blij dat we er geweest zijn maar ik zou dit huis nooit aanraden.
