Welcome to the Loft at 1517. A haven thoughtfully designed for travelers to experience the comforts of home while exploring Kansas City.

Location, Location, Location! Our prime downtown location couldn't be more convenient, placing you mere steps away from the T-Mobile Center - less than a minute's walk. Plus, your reserved off-street parking spot awaits by your private entrance to the Loft.

As you enter, make sure to capture a selfie with the neon Kansas City sign and green wall. It’s a must! Ascend the stairs to discover a generous 1,800 sqft loft space, exuding a SoHo ambiance with its open floor plan and lofty 13-foot exposed ceilings.

If you’re up for it, try your hand at a game of pool on the 8-foot Brunswick Pool Table. The loft is outfitted with a Highspeed WIFI mesh network with up to 2 Gig speeds! You can also stream all your favorite shows on the 65 inch smart tv.

Perfect for families or groups, the loft features two spacious bedrooms, each equipped with King Beds, separated by a floor-to-ceiling wall for privacy. Each bedroom has it's own tower fan and sound machine to ensure a comfortable night's rest, while the open wall to the living area preserves the loft atmosphere. Additionally, the expansive sectional in the living area transforms into a comfortable sleeping space for two.

Should you wish to indulge your culinary desires, our gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances. The salvaged butcher block counter tops evoke the ambiance of a charming restaurant right in your own space and the overhead skylight bathes the kitchen in natural sunlight.

You will have 2 reserved spots in the parking lot next to the Loft. There is also plenty of on street parking as well.

This loft is one of two lofts in the property. Please be considerate of your neighbors.

Per VRBO Rules and Kansas City Law, the Loft is not an event space and cannot accommodate parties. There is a maximum of 8 people allowed in the space at any time, with a maximum of 6 overnight guests. Failure to comply can lead to additional fees, fines and eviction.

No smoking or vaping in the Loft. Additional $500 cleaning fee

No glitter or confetti in the Loft. Additional $250 cleaning fees

Do not tape (secure) things to walls or move furniture. Additional costs for damages.

Late check out may lead to additional fees.

Unaccompanied guests under 24 years old are not allowed.

The BEST place to stay!
After a 4hour drive, game at Arrowhead in 100° weather, this was the most PERFECT place to come to, to change and get ready for our night! We got cooled off real quick, then walked the VERY short distance over to TMobile for Summer Worship Nights! After the concert, we browsed the P&L and the walk back seemed even shorter! The place was CLEAN, we felt safe, and Kris was PHENOMENAL! Communication was quick, and easy! The little details were appreciated and we cannot wait to stay here again!

Great location within the city! I used it for my bridesmaids and I to get ready for the big day and for my new husband and I’s spot after the big day! It was easy to get in and out of, great communication by the host the entire time, perfectly clean and spacious, and would happily stay in again!

Location for concerts
If you have a concert to attend at the T Mobile Center, this is so perfect! My daughter and I walked to the concert and got right out and walked back and I felt completely safe the entire time. There is a grocery store near, and restaurants. Our kids enjoyed the pool table as well.

Amazing Loft!
My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary get away. It was a perfect location within a block of the T Mobile Center and another block to the Power and Light District. The loft was exceptionally clean and had all the comforts of home. Kris was a wonderful host. Highly recommend!

Awesome property
Kris is an amazing host- everything that you could want was right there. The beds are comfy, the space was big enough to not feel crowded and best of all, it was super clean! We didn’t know a lot about downtown KC, but this location had plenty of restaurant and entertainment options close, and very convenient to the interstate. We will stay again!

Absolutely fabulous place
This property is in a perfect location and close to so much downtown. The parking makes it ideal and there's so much space to relax upstairs. The hosts were so gracious and welcoming. The checkin/checkout processes were easy and they were responsive. It felt like our home away from home.

Perfect for farewell tour of KC
This place was perfect for our family as we spent a few days in KC before taking our exchange student to the airport. The location was great for walking to Union Station and to yummy neighborhood eateries. The place was spotless. Great attention to detail in the amenities. This place is also just plain cool, and was part of the KC experience for our tweens/teens. Kris was a great communicator. We would stay here again, and again!

Best place for a girls trip!
I would 100/10 recommend this place. The cutest place with the perfect places to take pictures. You are walking distance to everything! If you can’t walk there, you can take the street car. The place is walking distance from the power & light district! The streets are very well lit up, the security system, and layout makes for a very safe stay!

Great place to stay, walking distance to downtown and great restaurants. The loft is very clean and the host gave us a lovely welcome note and chocolates. The bedrooms face the street which can be a little noisy at times but location and cleanliness of place made it worth it for me.

Beautiful and spacious!
My daughter’s wedding was held nearby and we used the loft as “getting ready” space for the bridal party. There is plenty of room to spread out and a well stocked kitchen. Some issues with noise on one night related to an event space nearby. There are noise machines available. Location for us was perfect since all the wedding activities were in the crossroads area. Host was wonderful with communication and accuracy of listing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

The Best Time in KC
I travelled to KC for a Chiefs game with some close friends. The Loft at 1517 was the best experience I've ever had renting a space, especially for a "guy's weekend." Clean, open space. Nice kitchen, bath, couch, and large television for sports viewing. Sweet pool table. Kris was especially welcoming, including a few beers, chocolates, and a Chiefs flag. Bedrooms were spacious with especially comfortable beds. All in all, an amazing time and a great property. We will keep it in mind for future trips to KC.
