We stayed in both houses for a family trip with 25 giests, and it was great. We really liked the houses and location, and the view from the houses of the Atlantic was tough to beat. There was plenty of room for all of us, with common rooms that could hold us all, but plenty of bedrooms if you needed privacy. I do have just a couple pieces of feedback:
1. I did not receive check in instructions, so I had to call and get these. That worked and it was quick, so very minor
2. We had to complete a form for the HOA, which says that you cannot have more than 8 people in each home (16 total). The VRBO listing shows that you can house 30 people, which is true. I didn't think much of this, but when I talked to the HOA person, he made it sound like there was absolutely no way that we could have more than 8 people in each house. The property management company assured me that it would be fine, and it was, but this ordeal the day before our trip caused us to scramble and search for different lodging options for a few hours, and unease when we arrived thinking that we would be accosted by the HOA. Luckily this all worked out fine, but that caused some undue stress up front
