This was more than perfect for our group of moms and teens celebrating prom. Plenty of space for teens to have their own spot and moms to be able to relax and have some wine. Beds were comfy and plenty! Only advice would be to add a freezer in the kitchen area. We brought food with us that needed to stay frozen and the only freezer in the basement was a little inconvenient. Also, the ice maker in the kitchen did not work so we had to get coolers of ice. Other than that, we were perfectly content! Had so much fun. And would love to rent again.
Absolutely stunning. The most spectacular property in the best possible location. Walking to Market Square for food and drinks is a breeze. The home itself is simply beautiful. So comfortable and lovely. The property manager is on point with communication and took care of anything we needed. 10 out of 10 for sure!
A condo full of old Knoxville history. Large, comfortable place with lots of things to do. Could use a bathroom nearer the three large bedrooms for those of us older renters. Overall I would rent it again.
All was perfect except dishwasher did not work or the sauna or the garbage disposal.

Good, but given the price, should have been better!
Overall we had a good stay at Friedman’s Loft. The location is very handy to many shops, restaurants, and the Market on the weekends. The Loft offers plenty of space that enables guests to spread out, but also has a very large kitchen and eating area for everyone. We liked the bedroom layout as it was very quiet and spacious. There are plenty of amenities at the Loft that you will find enhances your stay even though not everything was in working order. Unfortunately the two “car garage” was not usable to us as we had two SUV’s and there is a height restriction that only allow cars. (We realize that this is an older facility and making any changes would be pretty difficult). Also, the parking area just behind the Loft while convenient you had to be out by 04:45 AM the next day! We parked 3 blocks away in a Public Parking Lot and it worked out ok. We were also disappointed that the chair coverings were dirty, the "information book" was out updated and the pots/pans in the kitchen very "used". The biggest concern we had was the main hardwood floor was “buckled” at least 4 inches high and about 10 feet long & it was hard to get the main door open. Lastly, we tried many times to communicate with the Host and were getting very worried as we would not get any calls/texts back. We even contacted VRBO and they couldn't always reach them. This was very frustrating and not acceptable. We hope they make the appropriate improvements because it does offer a great location and amenities.
Church plant vision trip with a whole slee of us enjoying this beautiful home that sits right in the center of the heart of the city. Makes pretty much everything walkable.
While a beautiful space, the heaters in the property were unable to handle the cold temps outside. The heater on the Speakeasy didn't work - the room never got above 45°. And the master bedroom heater never got the room above low 60s.
I expected some type of discount. The manager/owner said no go. "Please accept our apologies. We hope you'll book with us again." Crazy.
Disappointing that they blamed the weather, but the renter has no such recourse. Good customer service would have extended some type of discount.
My family and I absolutely loved our stay at this home. The pictures do not do it justice on how stunning it truly is. The host was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend this property!
The Loft is absolutely stunning. We hosted an executive board meeting and dinner. Our guests said it was our best holiday dinner ever. I was impressed with the host’s responsiveness and attention to detail. The amenities are amazing. I think the Friedman Loft will no longer be Knoxville!s best kept secret.
Wonderful property…well decorated! Inconvenient parking options but that’s to be expected with any downtown property as is the street noise/sirens. Fantastic communication with manager. Small inconvenience was the one bathroom on the 2nd floor for the three queen bedrooms.
We were above pleased with this loft! It is absolutely beautiful! It was exactly as listed. Emma was amazing to work with for our stay. She responded quickly and professional. 5 stars isn’t enough for this amazing property. It is very convenient to downtown and has easy access. Highly recommend this property and we will definitely plan another trip to stay here.
I don’t even know where to begin with how happy we were staying here. We had to book last minute, and we were coming into town for a funeral from Michigan. We had my family of 8 and my brothers family of 5 and this space was perfect for the adults, teenagers, and kids. It gave us the space we needed for our individual families as well as for us to be together during this difficult time. The communication with the property owner was always fast and helpful, we ran into no issues when we were there but check in, booking, inquiries, were all handled promptly and was some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. It meant a lot to our family that we got to all stay together during this time and I can’t thank you enough for letting us stay.
Friedman’s Loft was an absolute gem! The house is amazing and very spacious. Perfect for our group…the kids loved the bottom floor and having their own space. You will not be disappointed at all if you stay here!
We had a wonderful time staying at Friedman's Loft. It is the perfect space to host a large family gathering. Being able to walk to restaurants nearby was especially nice.
Great location in downtown Knoxville. Lots of shops and food options all within walking distance. Not to mention, the house was AMAZING! Very clean! Must check out the speakeasy!

Nice property, but tricky to get into.
My family thought this was a great place to stay in downtown Knoxville. However, unloading and getting luggage into the property was a pain in the neck. Elevator access is from a garage entered from a back alley. However, the key pad to the garage wasn't working properly and apparently hasn't been for some time. The property manager said they were going to get a quote to replace it. That's good news for future guests, but it didn't help us. I would confirm it has been fixed before staying here - unless you have no luggage.
Everything was as advertised. Property was immaculate and very well stocked with all that you would need. Will definitely use again.

Knoxville is an amazing town and these properties in which I have been entrusted to are in the heart of downtown Knoxville. I grew up here and am most excited to be sharing Knoxville with people from all over. There are always fun things going on in Knoxville. Market Square, the Old City, and World's Fair Park always seem to have something happening. And then there is always Tennessee football!
The Smoky Mountains, in all their splendor, are right outside our back door. Whether it's a hike in the mountains or a bike ride around Cades Cove, east Tennessee is one of the most beautiful places to visit, or even better, call home!
What makes this property unique
This property is within walking distance of shops, Delicious local restaurants, bars, and more! The coolest features of this property are: A hidden speak easy bar area that utilizes an actual vault door that was left behind from a jewelry store that used to occupy the building. Your own personal sauna and spay area. A pool table and poker table. And a small little area to get your workout in!
