Very comfortable and great location not far from the action. We stayed in the winter but the back yard looked like it would be great in the summer & fall
We adored how the house laid out and the small beautiful touches through. Everything about the house was restful and built up the soul. Allie was fantastic to work with.
Very clean, comfortable bedding, relaxing atmosphere, upscale amenities and beautifully decorated. Family and friends all had a great time! I would stay here again.

We had a great stay at this beach house in Gloucester! This was very comfortable for the 6 of us, 2 kids, 2 teenagers, and 2 adults.
Four adults had a wonderful experience visiting here. The house was exceptionally clean and provided everything we needed. We would definitely stay again. Gloucester is a beautiful area.
This house is the perfect walking distance to a beautiful and quiet beach. Easy drive to downtown restaurants. House is extremely clean, lots of space in bedrooms, definitely a unique setup. Host was so responsive, lots of extra touches to make it a comfortable stay and super easy checkout process. Highly recommend!
Perfect place for a 5 person girls weekend. House cute, bed comfortable, lots to do. We had just enough pots and pans for cooking. Staircase is a bit steep but lots of railing keep it safe.
We are more accustomed to VRBO condos and homes in South Carolina so at first....and we arrived vey late at night after a four hour airport delay...we were taken back by the multi-level and multi-areas in the house but after just one day we were all saying "wow-what a great place this is to stay". "Stay at Niles Beach" is New England charming ,completely and well decorated as if the owners lived there, very clean, stocked with everything you need and the owners were very helpful and so pleasant to work with. In other words, just exactly what we were looking for for our trip to Gloucester. You too will enjoy and hate to leave just as we did.
We enjoyed the house and its light-filled rooms, beautiful views, and new appliances. The upstairs area was great for our toddler--we brought a safety gate for the stairs and wished we could have made it darker for nap time. Excellent, timely responses from the host when we had questions. Would definitely come back! Niles Beach is lovely and great for swimming, lounging, and collecting.
Beautifully decorated home with comfortable beds and nice outdoor spaces. Third floor bedroom was a great space for kids with lots of room but might be difficult for people with mobility limitations. Don't miss the Harbor cruise which is an easy walk from the house. Stage Fort Park and Wingaersheek beach (at low tide if possible for a walk on the sandbar) were also highlights especially with children.
We had 6 people stay comfortably in this beautiful cottage. The home exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and the extra touches were beautiful. The heated floor in the main level’s bathroom was a nice surprise. The furniture and decorations were perfect and well coordinated. It was a really nice space to spend time with family. Thank you.
We had a lovely stay in Gloucester. Great location with partial views of water from a few rooms and great view from bunk room. Very close walk to beach and Rocky Neck. All the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. House very thoughtfully stocked including sound machines in the bedrooms! We tend to go to the "other" cape (Chatham) but wanted a change and this place exceeded our expectations. We will be back! Thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay in Gloucester. The cottage was very clean and quiet. We were able to travel into Boston or Salem daily with no issues. The restaurants in Gloucester were great as well. There is a small pizza/sandwich place not far away called Firing Up. Came in handy for two hungry teens. Allie is a terrific host and very responsive! Five stars!!!
We had a wonderful gathering with our adult children in this lovely, very well equipped home. The beds were comfortable in this beautifully decorated home with a relaxing ambience.
Niles Beach really is just an easy three minute walk around the beach and welcomes you with cool breezes and a sandy beach.
Gloucester downtown is just a few minutes drive for grocery shopping, touring, and dining.
Our host was very helpful and quick to answer any questions.
Hope we have an opportunity to stay here in the future!
Allie maintains her property with a true attention to detail. She offered flexibility and understanding as we worked to find a safe and comfortable place to stay in Gloucester.
As the rare Gloucester visitor planning to dress for a semiformal occasion, we discovered the need for an iron and hangars. But, Allie worked with us to solve that.
We cooked all of our meals and found the kitchen to be well appointed with new appliances, pot, pans, utensils and 3-burner Weber grill we successfully used.
When we return to Gloucester we will be sure to connect with Allie for another stay!
Cute old house, built in the 1920s with 1500 sq feet- we had to look it up because it felt very small with the 6 of us. It’s 3 floors with extremely tight stairs and very uneven wood floors, all of us mentioned feeling off balanced, and one of us fell pretty hard down the stairs. There is one tv in a very tight sitting room on the first floor, definitely not comfortable for 6 adults but probably could feel better with small kids. There is a love seat by the tv with 4 chairs for the rest. The outdoor space is nice with a cleanish BBQ.

Thank you for the feedback. We're sorry the house didn't meet your expectations and that one of your guests experienced a fall. Old homes are common in the area, and we strive to maintain their charm while ensuring comfort and safety. Our listing does note the tight staircase to the second floor.
The home has three bedrooms, with one room featuring three twin beds primarily for kids. We understand the living room setup might not have been ideal for your group. The listing shows a full couch and three chairs in the living room, and there's an additional sitting room on the first floor with a loveseat.
We have a perfect track record for cleanliness from dozens of stays, so we're very sorry for this rare oversight with the grill not being perfectly clean.
