While you are here, BBQ on the beach to the sounds of the crashing waves and listen to the music of the Fog Bank Restaurant band playing from across the lagoon. Stroll to the village for homemade ice cream at the Polar Bear Ice Cream Parlor or drinks on the deck at Margaritaville. Rent a boat at the wharf and fish all day, or just stroll on down to the end and check out the view.
Surfing is walking to the local and Capitola Jetty about a 5 minute walk across the beach. Paddle boarding both in the Soquel creek, and the ocean for paddle surfing is avaialable with direct beach access both up and down the coast.
In the morning, drop by Mr. Toots Coffee house for your AM pick-me-up. Then wander over to Zelda’s for a tasty breakfast. Make sure you walk off your delicious meal by browsing the many wonderful shops in the Capitola Village. Be sure to check out the Rainbow City Limits Store and the Craft Gallery.
This condo has been in the Watson family for many years. It is affectionately called Mouse House because when Virginia Watson first saw it, she said it was small enough for a mouse to live in. But with the beach as your “family room” and the ocean your playground, it’s plenty big enough to hold some of your fondest family memories.
