A Slice of Heaven on the River in Capitola!!

Notice ... The city of Capitola and our home have survived the storms and are up and running well!!

This wonderful home in the quaint seaside town of Capitola will remind you of being in a small village in Italy. Brand new Queen bed in one bedroom and a super comfortable double in the 2nd bedroom. Brand new Murphy bed in the living room sleeps two.

It has a personal boat dock with (2)kayaks and a Paddleboard to use at your leisure. Or you can Kick on the deck and look out onto the beautiful Soquel Creek and observe nature.

Wonder down to the beach and enjoy the surf and the sun.

BBQ on the deck and watch the ducks meander by as you sip a glass of wine from one of the local wineries. Or just relax and read your favorite book in the privacy of your secure deck.

The lush green surroundings are breathtaking. If you feel the desire for shopping or dining out, the downtown and Esplanade are only a two-minute river walk away.

Enjoy the food and entertainment at the world-famous Shadow Brooke Restaurant!

No matter what you choose to do it will all be within walking distance of your front door.

We provide 1 parking spaces in front of the garage, May be extra parking when available.

Location hard to beat to be so close to town and beach but also feel removed from all the hustle on the river. Appreciated the comfy beds, useful kitchen and overall care put into this little slice! Look forward to when we can return again in sunny weather

Steve was a great host. The home needs one grab bar in the shower, cookie sheet for the over, more absorbing dish towels for the kitchen, wash cloths in the bathroom, batteries, door mats for both doors inside, dish drainers for the kitchen.

Deck was great for meals, bottle of wine, reading, and enjoying watching the people and dogs walk by. View of the river was peaceful. TVs were good. Fireplace was great. Only a couple of minutes to walk to Capitola on the beach and great restaurants there.

Wonderful location.Sitting on the back deck on that beautiful creek was so nice.The house is everything you see in the photos and a really nice efficient floor plan with very private bedrooms.Despite being efficient, the bedrooms are nicely separated and private from one another.Potential improvements:The kitchen details were under-whelming and we needed to get some basics like a kitchen sponge and various small food items that I've come to expect in the cupboards of a short-term rental. These are cheap and easy so why not stock them.There were a few somewhat unkept details that seemed like a low-effort on-site manager/staff (tools left out, boats and paddles found here and there.To future guests:The view and creek experience is better than pictured.Bring your favorite spices, sweeteners, cooking oils, etc and a kitchen sponge and you'll thoroughly enjoy this place.Also, budget some time on check-out to do a full laundry wash-and-dry of sheets and linens per the house manual (despite the cleaning fee). I've not had that expectation before so good to know ahead of time.Cheers!Would I go back - absolutely, but simple details could make it better.

The location was perfect. I was unhappy with the kitchen. Coffee machine was unusable the toaster was super old and only had one kitchen towel, no rags or cleaning supplies so I could wipe tables down. All the glasses and dishes had a bad smell it all smelled like vinegar. No broom so I could sweep the deck all the cushions on the patio furniture were very dirty.

Great location right along the river. House was cute and quaint; a two-minute walk to the restaurants and beach. Unfortunately the area rug smelled like dog pee & there was dog hair on the couches; but the owner was very responsive and had the cleaning crew come by to assist during our stay. This place was amazing! Bigger than it looked in the pictures, and things seemed new and/or well cared for. The porch was our fav place to hang out, and we loved being walking distance to the Village. Steve was super kind and very responsive.
