Friendly and easy check in. We were just in for a quick overnight. The room was extremely hot when we arrived and one of the bedroom air conditioners didn’t work which made the room unusable. The vibe of the hotel is great and the rooftop patio is cool. When it gets dark the pool light continually flashes different colours very brightly and obnoxiously to the point of us going back inside as it felt like we were in an accident scene. Front desk was aware of the problem but doesn’t have a quick fix without manually switching each pool light to constant colour. Overall a nice place in a developing neighbourhood. Felt safe. 10 min walk to Irish pub and convenience store.

The accommodations were nice, the bathroom fixtures were rusted and the sewage smell from the bathrooms was pungent, not sure if that's something that can be fixed but it was something that took away from the ambiance of the dwelling. The beds were comfortable, the roof top pool was wonderful. The surrounding area left alot to be desired. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. We(4 of us) got stuck in the elevator one night between floors, but staff response was not too delayed. Overall it's a nice property a good in between the expensive beach front and the local restaurants.

Pros:Above average check in, friendly staff Decent beds, nice linens.Large refrigerator Very quiet Nice architecture if they keep it undated.Nice open floor plan with lots of windows and light!!! Quick response to problem … but still wasn’t fixed Still a pretty very nice view. Depending on what direction, your patio faces, compared to the other units. (May have some concrete building. Price is nice. Elevator worked!!!! Cons: View has to be a photo from someone standing on roof. You look into tree- tops and look at a few unfinished derelict, grey buildings ( must be waiting for next round of funding) Pool not as big as it seems .Private Lounge chairs need pads. No point of laying on hard wood.Air conditioner didn’t work in separate bedroom (very hot).Need normal size glasses not only wine glasses and teeny coffee cups. Normal size glasses are needed for ice and drinks.(Only wine glasses??? Wine IS for everyone, but need normal glasses) Coffee mugs are too small for coffee drinkers. I believe during this current era of history we pretty much drink more than 3 ounces of coffee and cream if preferred.(repeat.. Important!)Bat-mat but can’t be used, as it doesn’t fit under door when opening. ( very slick, careful!) Other: Definitely need a car or scooter of some type. As long as you are aware of that . (That’s why is quiet) I am totally great (self-proclaimed) when it comes To directions but jimminiecrickets easy to get f******g lost!!,
Get some real large plastic cups or glasses made for actual drinking !

First time in Tulum

My best friend and I spent the first part of our trip in Tulum. We were very happy with our accommodation! We LOVED our private roof top pool. The bonus was the unit is part of a hotel complex so there was daily housekeeping (who did a very thorough job tidying up the place daily( and we could approach the front desk staff for assistance. Not sure we’d return to Tulum but would definitely return to stay here again!

A wonderful stay

We stayed in a penthouse suite that had a small pool up top. We loved the privacy of it and enjoyed time with our granddaughter in it. The staff were amazing!! They were extremely helpful and friendly:) I would come back just to see them! They gave us beach toys to use for our granddaughter as well as having a crib available. I would recommend having a vehicle which was helpful to get to the beach and to restaurants downtown. The gym was great and we used that daily. The small restaurant on site was actually very good and helpful when we arrived late. We felt very safe there. I would highly recommend this place!

Must stay for it's quiet and exclusivity.

Irie Boutique Tulum delivered precisely as presented. The condo exceeded our expectations. The private pool and lounge allowed us to take full advantage of relaxation. The team ensured our needs were met immediately, including dinner and entertainment recommendations. Andrea did not let us down, her suggestions were perfect. Martin patiently works with us for WiFi connectivity (understandable in Tulum). He even coordinated a taxi service that we were able to use our entire stay-like a private driver sharing insight into our destinations.

In the Jungle

Irie Tulum was a great place to stay! Small enough to be a quiet get away yet with a great gym and the yoga room was fabulous. The Management took care of our every wish and made arranging tours and restaurants super easy. We chose to stay in one of the penthouses with a pool that was great for cooling off and sipping cocktails. Only regret was not choosing a penthouse on the quiet side overlooking the jungle. Next time I’ll choose the little bit smaller pool over the larger one.
