This was a great place to stay for the weekend! The three bedrooms worked well for each couple to have their own space and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had what we needed for meals and the house was very cute and was clean. The location was great, near Hummingbird Cafe which I’d heard good things about and finally got to try, and also an easy walk to the bars and weekend festivities. We’ve been to Butte a number of times over the past seven years for day trips and enjoyed finally getting to spend a weekend in town, and this house was a great location to enjoy it from. Street parking out front was always available during our stay, although as mentioned we mostly walked during our visit as the location was great for that!
We really enjoyed staying in this updated historic home. The kitchen had everything we needed. House was super clean and comfortable. Our group of 5 had plenty of room to spread out. The flowers in the backyard were gorgeous (our visit was in August). No problems with neighbors and the parking spot in front of the house was always open for us as we came and went.
I did have to contact the host to ask how to get into the house (I feel like hosts should be more proactive about providing that info rather than waiting for the guest ask). The only other complaint is that the bathroom doors don't lock. The vintage doorknobs are cool, but when it comes to a bathroom, being able to fully close and lock the door is a must! Hopefully you can find someone to repair the vintage door knobs and locks.
Home was beautiful. Neighbors were quite loud and kept taking our parking spot. So we had to keep parking around the block. Very spacious rooms. My kids loved it there. Great for the entire family.
Property is nicely renovated and fairly well equiped for a family to enjoy. We were able to relax, cook meals, and enjoy a good night's sleep. Minimal city noise in this quiet neighborhood, be prepared to parallel park, but the spot right out front was open 95% of the time. Cooked several great meals for the family. Close to several city attractions and a great spot for day tripping in the area. Nice outdoor patio for enjoying the weather too.
