**** NOTE: bridge work is scheduled for Fall 2024. Dates have not been set by the township. With the closure of the bridge, there will be a 2 mile detour to reach this property and to get from this property to the South Bayou Park

Build your summertime vacation memories in this lovely 2 Bedroom (flex room could be a 3rd bedroom), 1 Bathroom bungalow. This home is pet friendly so that you can bring your fluffy friends with you and features a nice yard for them to explore. Inside the house we have a fully stocked kitchen and a living room for you and your family to relax in after a long day at one of the nearby beaches. Speaking of beaches! The Ludington State Park and Ludington city beach are both less than a 10-minute drive.

This 2 bedroom cottage includes a bonus flex room that can be used as a 3rd bedroom, hang out area, or left open to create a large main bedroom. You will walk thru the flex room to get to the main bedroom and they are divided by a curtain (no physical wall). The flex room also features a ceiling fan, window A/C, chair, blanket chest, 32 inch TV, dresser and a twin XL bed. Many families like to use this space for the kiddos to hang out while they get their own space in the living room and the smaller bedroom. Both bedrooms are typical of cottages built in the 1940's. They are smaller than today's bedrooms, but they both feature a queen bed, closet, and dresser. The bathroom is also what I call "cottage" size - small, but it serves it purpose.

Bringing a boat? We have room for you to park it in our 46+ foot concrete drive, with room on the side for another car.

Enjoy your secluded backyard patio where you can dine outside, grill your favorite meals, or just sit back and relax around the firepit. The grassy front yard provide space for playing Frisbee or setting up an outdoor game. There is a small peek-a-boo view of Hamlin Lake, but the houses across the street block most the view :(

Boat rentals, bait shop, snack shop, boat ramp, and county park just a few houses away. Walk to the county park and let the kiddos play on the swings, have a picnic or do a little fishing. Public beaches on Hamlin and Lake Michigan are a 5-10 minute drive. Downtown Ludington is only 5 miles down the road. This is a convenient location for all your Hamlin Lake and Ludington needs.

NOTE - Garage on the property is used by maintenance and may be randomly access by staff between 8am - 7pm. It is not included as part of your rental.

Great location in a cozy cottage

Cottage was in a beautiful location nestled between the woods and Hamlin Lake. Even a small store next door which was super convenient. Loved all the little extras in the kitchen, and other small details like having some streaming services already setup. Everything was as described. Also enjoyed the small backyard and fire pit at night! Great communication from the host as needed. Also appreciated the simple checkout instructions!

Sweet stay in Ludington

This little house was a great find, easy to find in a quiet lakeside neighborhood. Clean, stocked with many necessities and some nice little extras in the kitchen. We cooked a few meals, had everything we needed for cooking. We didn't use the outdoor/backyard space but wished we would have had more time to enjoy it!! Quick responses when we initially booked and had some questions about our stay. Location for us was great, closer to the state park but easy drive to restaurants in town. Small bathroom as noted, even smaller shower space BUT clean and it wouldn't stop us from returning.

Cozy little spot!

Cute, clean, and lots of nice little touches/extras to make your stay great! Very well thought out, every inch is maximized in the best way. About 5-8 minute straight shot drive from downtown Ludington/the main beach; directly across from coastline property/small marinas. Brought our 2 pups, no issues, very dog friendly house. No enclosed area so you will need to plan on leashing, which was communicated and expected. Quick response from host to any and all questions. Great stay!

Great attention to detail

Great location, super cute, clean, pet friendly. Attention to detail with the little things. (Cereal boxes, jams, everything for coffee, hair dryer and an iron!!!) we came for a wedding and we forgot those essentials). We will be back when we can stay longer

Walking distance to 2 township parks. The South Bayou Park has a boat ramp and small playground. A couple of doors down from boat rentals, ice cream, and snack store.

Close to all the action around Hamlin Lake. Just a 5-10 minute drive to town or to the State Park. Ice cream and snacks next door. Event destination at Stix just 2 miles away. Grocery store 2 miles away.
