What an amazing cabin and host. The views, surrounding land and the neighbors were so friendly. Brian head was literally 21 min drive from Angels Cabin. It really felt like a Post Card idyllic trip. Thanks Angel

Perfect for families

My family & I loved Angels Cabin. Any problems we had her response time was quick & so helpful. We booked the cabin to go to Brian Head resort for snow activities but the location was so perfect we skipped Brian Head Resort & had our own sled & tubbing fun right on hills near the cabin. The kitchen was full with everything we needed to cook & even a bbq grill with propane. I would definitely book Angels Cabin again it was perfect.

Panguitch Cabin Family Trip

The location was less then 10 minutes from Panguitch Lake and close to many trails within a 10-20 mile radius. The cabin was large and housed my extended family of 28. The kids loved the little playground and swings. The kitchen is small but we didn’t have any problem with that. Loved the huge dining table. We played many card games there. The owner was great to work with. We stayed there the first of August.

Great Family Cabin

We had a great family reunion here consisting of 27 people. There was plenty of space for all ages, ranging from 1 to 68 years of age. The open floorplan made it nice. The bedrooms were well appointed. Something for everyone to do. The kitchen was well stocked. Nearby was Lake Panguitch. We also liked Navajo Lake. The lakes were a bit windy but didn't keep the kids from enjoying the water. The easy hike to Cascade Falls was spectacular! The town of Panguitch had a great fireworks show on July 4th. The host, Angel, was very responsive and gave us good info on the surrounding area. Highly reccommend this beautiful cabin!!

Gorgeous!! So Clean! Beautiful Property & Area

This cabin is even prettier in real life! We loved the interior design and the high ceilings. We had kids ranging from 2-17 years old and all were entertained for the 4 days we were there. There was more furniture in when we came than are in the photos, including a really awesome game table that can be changed from pool to air hockey or ping pong. The young kids had a whole playroom to themselves and had a lot of fun on the playground set too. We went on a little hike and visited the lake which was like 3 min away by car. I imagine it would be an amazing place to fish from the shore or by boat. I also was amazed at the little lookout between Brian’s Head and the cabin, which stood out from the green forests as a bright red canyon with lots of cool formations. Brian’s Head is REALLY close. This cabin would be amazing to stay during ski season as well. My favorite part was just sitting on the porch and relaxing though. Stay here! You will love it!

Exactly what we were hoping for!

This location was perfect for our needs. It was roomy enough our group could spread out and not be on top of each other. The cabin was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked, a few games to play, wood for the firepit and extra linens and towels. The washing machine came in handy several times. The RV cover was great for those who stayed in an RV. It rained a little and helped keep the mud away from the trailer entrance. I appreciated that the cabin was a short drive from Panguitch so we could grab a couple of things we forgot for dinner. The location was great!. Close to the lake for kayaking, fishing or canoeing, a short drive to Mammoth Cave or Brian Head to Zipline or do other outdoor activities. We were able to go on a couple short hikes around the area as well. It is in a peaceful setting, offering quiet surroundings for intimate programs and gatherings. WiFi calling was easy and we were able to share the password with the adult leaders and have communication with parents back at home and Angel, the owner of the cabin. Overall we loved our stay! It was exactly what we were looking for! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Almost Perfect

It's great to read reviews that say everything was perfect, but it's also great to find out how a host responds to a problem. That's when you see how sincere their concern for your experience is. Angel's Cabin is everything the listing states. We had more space than expected and more beds than we needed. That is an excellent feature as we discovered that there was an insect problem on the top floor. We were able to immediately contact our host and explain the situation. His first concern was for our comfort. We were all able to move around and sleep comfortably. We did have one family unit uncomfortable with the situation and chose to find a hotel in Brian Head and only spend the days with us. Our host next scrambled to find a pest control company to address the situation as soon as possible. Further, we were offered an unsolicited partial refund since we were not able to take advantage of the entire property. This cabin is lovely, and generously stocked with toiletries, cleaning supplies, towels, washrags, linens, extra pillows and bedding, throw pillows, and toys for the kids. We had up to 15 devices at a time (phones, laptops, Nintendo Switch, etc.) connected to the wifi and all ran smoothly. Lag time was occasionally experienced in the basement. We were provided with more than enough dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, spices, etc. than needed. The dishwasher does a great job and runs almost silently. Would definitely stay here again!

Family reunion success

Generally this was a nice place and we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive to any concerns we had. Our family consisted of about30 individuals. Limitations that existed were limited bathing facilities with two showers and two tubs but due to low water pressures the use of tubs was very limited and with only one bathroom on the main floor and none in the basement it put a lot of pressure on that one. The weather was terrific and essentially there were no HVAC needs although present. We were happily surprised with the extra refrigerator in the garage that was a life saver as we stayed for a full week. I was surprised at the limitations on ATV use with a 10 mph limit in the neighborhood and to get to available trails required illegal use on the adjacent highway or trailering ATV’s. The convection stove was a surprise but the hosts provided suitable cookware for its use. We cooked a lot inside and out and that was a positive to us. I think the landscaping could use attention but recognizing the limit available of water I believe it limits landscaping. Although the pictures were a little deceiving it’s the nature of photography and we were happy with the facility and had a great time. We would return again but would adjust and perhaps add another facility to more accommodate our needs. Again the host, Angela, was great and tried to meet our concerns and needs. The amenities were better than most any place we’ve stayed. Recommendations would include …….

Annual Christmas ski trip

This place is amazing. We have rented a cabin this time of year for the last 10 years. And it’s hard to find a place large enough for our group of friends and families. Our only concern was the distance from Brianhead but the beautiful area and plenty of beds made it well worth it. We would like to rent this place every year moving forward!!

About the host

Hosted by Angel Morton-Nilsson

Host profile image
We are Wayne and Angel. We both grew up in small mountain towns and now together, our favorite place to be is camping and hiking in southern Utah or on any mountain. With 5 kids, we are trying to raise them up right- enjoying the outdoors! We are brand new vacation home owners and thrilled to be starting this journey of hospitality!

Why they chose this property

We both have LARGE families, and finding a place to gather everyone can be a real trick. We were on the hunt for a large reunion home for a long time, before we found what we thought was the perfect one. Big enough, beautiful, surrounded by forests, and close to so many places that we love!

What makes this property unique

This showcase cabin is the perfect place to relax, play games, let the kids explore, ride ATVs, eat feasts, have talent shows, bbq, roast marshmallows, and then rest after a full day of play! The size, number of beds, dinning space, and outdoor space are hard to beat! And it is centrally located between Bryce Canyon NP, Zions NP, Panguitch Lake, and Brian Head Ski Resort. There are so many options for day trips from the cabin. Local gems include Mammoth Springs Caves, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Parowan Petroglyphs, and more. There are several restaurants very nearby at Panguitch Lake, Duck Creek Village, and Brian Head Ski Resort.
