Traveling with a large family is never easy, but this rental made us feel at home. Full kitchen for cooking, dining area to seat everyone, huge tv, great wi-fi, washer and dryer, fun backyard to make s’mores, and beds upstairs to sleep all our kids. We would stay here again!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled that our rental made your family feel right at home. It sounds like you made the most of everything the space offers! We would love to host you again in the future – you and your family are always welcome back. Safe travels, and we look forward to your next stay!
The house was perfect for our friends. Host did not respond to a question about what type of coffee maker but they had a great coffee bar setup when we arrived.
Nicely renovated older home with lots of character. Great backyard but can hear road noise. Comfy beds. Good parking in front. Only thing we needed but did not have were potholders and serving dishes but used the available cooking pots

Thank you for the review! We’re so glad you had a great stay. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!
Adequate for our need. Close to the parks we wanted to visit. One bathroom did work out but I was skeptical. An airconditioner or fan in porch area would have been nice.

Ironton gettaway
We enjoyed our vacation overall. The place was roomy and decently clean. However we bought groceries and they weren’t bad in the fridge that wasn’t working. When we tried to contact owner we were unsuccessful. It was frustrating to have money go to waste like that.

Would not book again
This home was cute, but needed some updates for security, like blinds that completely cover the windows, a bathroom door that completely closes; and a little more accuracy of the location. We rented for a short stay (two nights) and had planned to use the backyard. But did not due to the proximity to the road, the neighbors’ dogs, and the condition of the yard. The space was mostly comfortable for our two teenagers and us. The kitchen very large as well.

Did not sleep well
There was some sort of animal in the attic the night we stayed. 4 out of the 5 beds are upstairs and very close to the attic. The animal noise was so loud 2 of us slept on the couch instead of upstairs which was not comfortable. I realize it isn’t the owners fault there was an animal in the attic but when I tried to communicate that to the owner I did not get any response.
Everything about this house was great and as expected, there were a few minor things with the house due to age but didn't cause any real concern.
I will say the neighbors made their opinions about "out of towners" well known after his dog entered our yard and attacked our puppy and then he proceeded to threaten me with his .45, then after that we had a drunk stranger wonder into the kitchen and start eating our dinner with his bare while I was in the shower, but realized after i walked in that he was obviously in the wrong and hurried off without a issue.
I will say ...the house/views and things to do in the area , amazing 8 out of 10.
Just be extremely careful here with the neighborhood and lock your doors cause those 2 scares in one night was enough surprise for a trip.

Canceled trip
My friend that was joining me was not able to make the trip as her husband was involved in an accident the evening prior. I messaged the host x3 but never received a response noting the cancelation. It was too late to get a refund but I thought they would at least acknowledge we did not arrive and prayed for a refund of the cleaning deposit. I got nothing. What I received were messages as if we had been there. Poor communication and apparently did not read my messages to them. If you need communication would not recommend. Cannot say anything about the property since we did not actually show up or stay.
Newly remodeled, was very clean and had everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, big sectional couch, dining area, etc. Loved the porch with all the windows. Plenty of beds, loft, and two bedrooms. Super cute decor. Only thing we would have liked was better locks/doors for thr bedrooms and bathroom.

Older home nicely renovated
More convenient and space than a hotel. Host replied quickly to questions and accommodating. Only a couple of minor negatives, The king bed on the right side is very lopsided. The other negative that would be easily remedied was an ant problem on the countertop by stove at the time of our stay. Overall it was a nice stay.
