Traditional cabin in the heart of Muskoka with private hot tub! This cabin is perfect for couples wanting to get away from it all, yet providing great proximity to amenities in Huntsville 5 minutes away. We are directly hillside to the Hidden Valley Ski Hill if you, or just a five minute walk to Peninsula Lake. Our cozy cottage is the perfect place to unwind by the fire or in the outdoor cedar barrel hot tub!

Our chalet is a cozy dream. Arrive and relax in nature. We are located right across the street from Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Hill. At the bottom of the ski hill, a 5 minute walk away, is the private community beach at Peninsula Lake for Hidden Valley residents and guests in the summertime.

This wood chalet has one bedroom with a new Endy queen bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with the essentials – dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, 2 coffee makers (French press and drip), kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, gas stove, and Brita water filter. The kitchen/dining area/living room are open concept with a real wood stove with a glass front. Extras include outdoor cedar hot tub, Big Green Egg charcoal BBQ (bring your own charcoal), propane bbq, screened in gazebo, deck with really comfortable chairs, outdoor fire pit and Muskoka chairs, wireless WiFi, large TV with Netflix and Disney Plus.

We supply fresh linens and bedding, towels and kitchen cloths and tea towels. We do not supply beach towels, so please remember those!

We are on town water and sewer and even have an automatic back up generator that will keep the lights on in the rare occasions the power goes out. We have a furnace and a wood stove which will keep you cosy all winter long. Shade in the summer plus overhead fans will keep you nice and cool. There is airconditioning in the bedroom.

We provide a small amount of split wood for use in the indoor wood stove and fire pit. If you require additional wood, it is available at most gas stations and grocery stores.

Check in time is 4 pm to allow time for enhanced cleaning. We often get requests for early check in. We understand you would like to get your holiday started, however it's not possible to ensure our cleaners have enough time to prepare the cabin for your stay.

Guests are not allowed to launch boats at this location, but we will provide information on other boat launches in the area.

We are licensed by the Town of Huntsville to operate a Short-Term Rental. Booking is for 2 adults, no additional guests or visitors as per Town of Huntsville Short-Term Rental License.

Absolutely no smoking, vaping and/or drugs anywhere on the property inside and outside due to fire hazard and odours. Cannabis must be stored in your car as its odour can be absorbed by the wood building. A $500 damage fee will be charged for violating the smoking rules.

Please ensure you remove all garbage, food, beer and wine bottles when you leave. We will provide information on local disposal site options. We understand that taking your garbage with you is not ideal, but we have limited options in cottage country.

We reserve the right to close the hot tub due to maintenance, inclement weather or for any other unforeseen issues at any time, without prejudice and without affecting the guests full rental rate.

In the event that there are disruptions with our cable, internet or Wi-Fi services due to power outages or for any other unforeseen issues at any time, this will not affect the guests' full rental rate and without prejudice to the owners.
