Overlooking mostly ranch land and a beautiful view of Pikes Peak, this is a perfect spot to unwind, drink in the countryside, and listen to the breeze! At night you can count the stars “until the cows come home.” Though not far from Monument, it is still very wild country, with deer, elk, antelope, coyotes and more grazing free. Sorry, no buffalo roaming any more.

The location was beautiful, which is saying something after driving from Rocky Mountain National Park. Susie and Dan were spectacularly helpful, friendly, and interesting. The place is quirky but I loved that—bed was very comfortable, outdoor set up to enjoy the scenery, just 3 days of unwinding (with a wedding mixed in).

It is a magical getaway that you will see all different wonderful types of birds if you want to sort of get out of the hustle and bustle of the city this is a perfect little getaway to completely relax and get back into nature the host was absolutely fabulous this is going to be a place that we will go back to over and over

Great Holiday Weekend stay

Clean and well appointed trailer. Super comfortable beds. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, recommending several great restaurants in the area. We enjoyed time on the deck; wonderful views and the gas firepit was nice surprise.

Nice place

It's perfect for a single or couple. Centrally located to a lot of outdoor Rockies activities. Just 45 minutes from Pikes Peak toll gate.

It was a very cozy stay.We were only going to stay there two nights, then stay in a TP five hours away for the last two. The moment we stepped into the TP, I turned to my dad and said "We're going back"Good beds, cozy kitchen, incredible hosts.Definitely coming back!

Fantastic Getaway

First of all Dan & Suzie were excellent hosts. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and our late flight in. The accomodations were breathtaking, with a view of Pike's Peak right out the window. It was a comfortable distance from all the activities we did during our visit. Highly recommend!

Unique property

We really enjoyed our stay in the Spartan! We arrived 4 hours later than planned (2:30 AM) due to plane delay and Susie was fantastic with very detailed instructions and left the lights on for us. We saw a herd of elk crossing the driveway as we were packing up. Would definitely stay here again.

The BEST hosts! Spacious, comfy, ideal location. The shower, but it was spacious and plenty of hot water. Good cross ventilation and air flow - very cool at night - no need for air conditioning. Nice porch area with fire pit, BBQ, comfy chairs, and STARS at night with no light pollution. Close to good hiking, and a walk on the land. I had a wonderful, rejuvinating time. HIGHLY recommend!
