Thanks, Ken for the positive review. You’re good people and we enjoyed hosting you and your guest. You’re always welcome here.
The place was extremely clean, homey and quiet. Host was very friendly and accomidating. The only drawback(not the hosts fault) he had to drain and refill the hot tub, due to the prior guests. We only stayed one night so were not able to take advantage of the hot tub. We would totally recommend staying there.

Thank you, Bill, for your kind review. We enjoyed hosting you and your wife. You’re always welcome here. And one more time…sorry about the hot tub. ;)
Beautiful stay in the mountains. The hot tub was clean and gave a great view of the stars in the evening. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. Bed was comfy and home welcoming.
My only complaint is that I was unaware that this was a basement apartment in the host's house, and they actually lived upstairs. This is actually a big thing though because one of the main reasons I go though VRBO is that there aren't supposed to be on site hosts, and we wanted the privacy. But the rooms were nice and clean, and the hot tub was nice, but again it wasn't private.

Hi Kent,
Thank you for your review of our rental property, and again, we appreciate you choosing our cabin when there are so many vacation properties to choose from!
We’re very proud that we have successfully booked the rental suite over 400 times, and maintained a 9.8 in 10 review metric over the last four years. We attribute much of our success with folks just like you, to the cabin’s location, situated in the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains.
We’re happy to hear that you noticed and appreciated the cleanliness and high quality of the rental suite. It truly is a beautiful property. Of course, had you only read the rental suite’s description on the Vrbo site, you perhaps would have been aware that the rental suite consists of the entire first floor and then made a decision more consistent with your vacation plans regarding accommodations. If we rented the entire cabin (over 2600 square feet with three bedrooms and three baths) the booking fee would be beyond most family’s means.
Take care, Kent, and best wishes to you and yours.
Our stay at this location was amazing. The atmosphere was just right (warm/ cozy / inviting). Our host, Denise, went over all of the ins and outs, made sure we had plenty of wood, even delivered to the door. The location is minutes off of I-40. More importantly with 45 min of everywhere you may want to go visit in the area. Will definitely book again. Thank you Denise for a great stay!

Hey you two…
Thank you for a thoughtful and very positive review-it really does help keep bookings up. I found you both to be pleasant and friendly folks. You’ll always be welcome here at the cabin. Call or message on your next trip out here and we’ll work with you on cost. Take care and best wishes!
The owner was so incredibly nice and the cabin was cozy! We went to town for dinner and wanted to relax in the hot tub and once when we returned, Denise had it open and all set up for us to enjoy, along with larger towels in the cabin for us. I highly recommend!

The hostess Denise was very nice! We felt very welcome and everything was nice and clean! We had plenty room to walk out dog Hank! Hikking trails were not far away!
It was an adorable little Mother-in-law suite in the bottom of the owners home.
