It’s in the country setting without a very close neighbor, close enough to the trails to ride the SXS’s to them yet off of the main Billy Creek Rd where all of the traffic is at. This home is truly in Solitude.

The back patio has been a favorite with all of my guests. The fire pit is always popular during the cooler temperatures and my husband work diligently to make sure there is always free firewood for my guests. Great proximity to the trails at Billy Creek

The property was clean and comfortable and easily accommodated our party of 7. We loved the location! There were a few small maintenance issues that need to be addressed, but it didn't affect our ability to enjoy our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

These guests were the best guests. Although all ATV’s in the area were already reserved for the weekend, I suggested some of the greatest hiking trails in the Ouachita Mountains which will addict even the most uninterested person. Scenic Solitude is designed for families to make memories with indoor and outdoor games in a safe secluded country setting. The back patio is like heaven in the morning for that first quiet cup of coffee and nature’s beautiful surroundings. I welcome you back again if you were t able to experience all the area has to offer.

Lovely home in a beautiful, quiet location. Loved the sign to help us find it in the evening. This home is large, very comfortable for our multi-generation group. The beds are extremely comfortable. SxS Riding Getaway

This was our second trip to Billy Creek and we had to stay in the same place. The house is nice and spacious with everything you need and located just down the road from the trails. We had 4 couples and had plenty of room for cooking and eating together. I’m positive we’ll be staying here again.

A quiet get away

We had an amazing time! If you are looking for the perfect get away, then this place is it! We have been coming to the Muse area for years. My family and I love to ride horse in the mountains. We were just down the road from our favorite riding place Heavens Gate RV park and we got to visit the Queen Wilhelmina State Park. We will definitely be back!

We loved the property! Enough room for our family of 7 and Nona has thought of just about anything you may need to feel like you’re at home! The nearest stores are about 20 mins a way, but the directions made it easy to find. I think we all loved the back porch and deck, it was nice to enjoy your morning coffee, and we even saw some deer one morning. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Wouldn't know where to start. The work has been done for you! Super nice accommodations, all the little extras. Didn’t matter that i forgot a few things. Close enough to Talihina if you want to eat out too! That said, a short trip to AJ's market was great! We made use of the charcoal grill (which is also really nice) & had great results. Definitely will return!

My husband, George, and I are locals to the area and have been farming and ranching in Muse for many years. I am also a nurse and work at the local Choctaw Nation Hospital. We have 3 daughters and three grandchildren. We love this area and love the people that we meet as they travel through Southeast Oklahoma. We know that SE Oklahoma is truly God’s country and want all visitors to enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Why they chose this property

This home is very near my own residence. It is very neat and clean. I love interacting with my guests and I want them to experience the best stay possible.

What makes this property unique

The back patio is the most beautiful place in the spring and summer to sit, relax, and have a cup of hot coffee as you take in the view of the flowers and large banana tree as it engulfs the porch. The serene quietness is to be envied as you get away from the lights, noise, and hustle and bustle of the city life. The mountains are gorgeous in the fall as the green leaves turn from bright orange and deep red to yellow and brown just before they fall giving you that carefree feeling as you just relax and take it all in. The spacious home allows you to visit but at the same time having plenty of privacy. The rural area is safe with friendly neighbors if you decide to take an evening stroll just before the sun goes down. The large yard allows your children to play in a safe area and just run wild and free.
