This property is even better than the description. Our family of 5 stayed for the long, holiday weekend as we visited with friends nearby at a campground. The location was perfect and the amenities were amazing. The host has really put many thoughtful details into the rental!

We loved our stay at the Sandpiper! The house was clean and spacious. For a group of 8, the house rules were simple and fair. Our 5 mini humans didn't want to leave. Brian, our Host's father, was very helpful and kind. You really get the warm feeling of home and family which what we appreciated the most. This home had everything we needed and more. Definitely will recommend visiting here and I look forward to coming back.

Quiet property in a cul-de-sac about 5 minutes from the Kiptopeke campground and easily accessible from 2 directions. Communication was open and accessible with quick responses to queries. When I needed to add guests due to an emergency (strong storm that took out family tents at the campground), it was easy to communicate and pay for the extra guests. The pool was great and well maintained. The kids loved it. Plenty of seating inside and out for family. Lush grass perfect for little feet. Large deck, sunny rooms, plenty of lighting, and clean linens. The welcome basket for the smores was a lovely touch (my toddler decided all he wanted was the graham crackers). If you are used to softer mattresses, a mattress topper is recommended as the beds are very firm. Bunk beds in the kids' room are great for the kids and seemed to be of moderate firmness. The kids' room was adorably decorated with a shark motif and there are plenty of toys to keep little hands occupied. Plenty of blankets and pillows for comfort. Overall, it was a wonderful spot for our little family and my siblings who got flooded out of their tents.

The house was incredible, and the hospitality has exceeded any experience we have had with other properties. The property owner responded quickly to every message. The location was good too, closer to three beach and to town. This will be our first choice when returning to the area.

Fishing Trip

We come to Cape Charles every year for fishing trip to catch Cobia. We all had a great time and Brian’s clams were icing on the cake. The pool was great as well.

Amazing!

This house has everything!

Quiet cul-de-sac, marshmallow makings, cool pool, kitchen gadgets and supplies galore, lots of beach and pool towels to name a few. Very well cared for and very clean.

Wonderful

We enjoyed an absolutely fantastic vacation here, everything was perfect and very well thought out by the hosts, with so many extras! Great location too, so close to Kiptopeke State Park beaches and nature trails, and a very short ride to the Cape Charles beachfront. We saw many gorgeous sunrises, sunsets, and even a few shooting stars from the back deck. Highly recommended!!
