Cook a variety of dishes in the full kitchen that hosts a dishwasher, electric range and full size refrigerator. The studio is fully stocked and supplied with everything you should need while away from home. There is drip coffee maker and freshly roasted coffee from our local Shooke Coffee Roasters for the morning. There is a tea kettle, full pots and pans and anything else you may need to whip up a quick dish and the soap for washing up. The Kitchen island sits two and there is a folding table that will roll out and seat four if needed. There is a split cool that controls the temperature .

There are extra hypo allergenic blankets and towels. Eco friendly shampoo, conditioner and body wash are available at the dwelling. We use recycled or bamboo paper products and vegan, organic cleaning products wherever possible.

The bathroom is separated from the rest of the living space by a barn door. It's not insulated for sounds at all. Its best if everyone is very comfortable with each other if you choose to stay here.

The laundry room has organic detergent and stain remover for several loads of laundry. You will find yourself well cared for in this clean and comfortable in this modern dwelling.

There are books and games for entertainment. Netflix and Hulu are available for streaming on the smart TV. We do not have any cable or TV channels.

This property has 4 additional apartments in it. All dwellings are completely private and there is a shared back yard, and seasonal game room.

There is a Pyreneese/Poodle Mix named Penny that hangs out in the backyard sometimes. She's a shy and friendly dog that will welcome you Home.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay very much! The unit was nicely decorated, well stocked with everything we needed and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the studio was spacious. Capitol Reef NP was just a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Spot
Loved the charming desert vibe that this property offered. It was great to have a full kitchen and a quiet place that just felt more like home than a hotel room.

A perfect place to stay to support intentional travel and sustainable tourism. We aim to minimize impact on ecosystems, maximize impact on local businesses and support the people who run them. Land Acknowledgment Home in the Heart of Utah land has been the home to many people. I am a direct descendent of Utah Pioneers as well as an immigrants and I am grateful for the privilege of being raised in this region. During that time I rarely heard the traditional names of territories and peoples. Indigenous people and their struggles were talked about as past tense. I honor and acknowledge that we preside on the traditional stolen land of the Hisatsinom (Hopi) Nuu-agha-tuvu-pu (Ute) Nuwuvi (Southern Paiute) peoples past and present. The Wee-noonts, the People Who Lived the Old Ways. We honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it throughout generations. Let this acknowledgement serve as a reminder of our ongoing efforts to recognize, honor, reconcile, and partner with the people whose land and water we benefit and connect with daily.

What makes this property unique

In the backyard we offer bocce ball, corn hole, badminton and other fun lawn games that you can find in the community game room that has a pool table, ping pong table and darts.

The large backyard with a BBQ and plenty of places to relax and hang out in the shade of the apple trees. Our neighbors have various cute livestock to watch and we have free range chickens plucking around the yard.

The heart of Utah boasts exceptional landscapes that vary from expansive red rock deserts to high altitude forests. Our neighbors are not just the people next door but the white rock people of Capitol Reef, the Pando tree people of Fish Lake. We honor and protect the vast canyon people of Grand Staircase National Monument and the lake people who live on Boulder Mountain.
