Location was great, felt like home

The house had very nice amenities from Charmin TP, ziploc bags for treats, cookware and spices, plush towels, washer and dryer w laundry detergent. I also loved the nice TV and couches, the kitchen butcher block is beautiful too. We traveled our first time to AZ spent 9 nights here. The house is definitely in walking distance to the trails and minutes from Main Street Sedona. Go to Sedona visitor center to get trail maps. We put on a Lot of miles on our rental and went to Lower Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon. Both are amazing. The mountains in Sedona are surreal also. If going to Antelope, make sure you stop at Horse Shoe Bend and take 89 back to Sedona, I think that was the most beautiful ride.

West Sedona retreat

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Terrific location- less than a block away from Thunder Mountain trail heads in West Sedona. Many restaurants nearby. Quiet neighborhood. House well stocked with all the comforts of home. Comfy living room furniture, especially the recliner, but bureaus and kitchen table a bit worn. The outdoor spaces looked inviting and peaceful but unfortunately, we didn't have much of an opportunity to sit outside as the weather was cold, even snow! Would recommend this house.

Quiet West Sedona neighborhood. Perfect base for all our Sedona adventures.

Awesome! A short walk to a nearby trailhead provided perfect access to plenty of hikes for our first time visiting Sedona. Keith is a fantastic host. He took care of all our questions. He messaged a couple times to make sure our stay was going well. A quiet house in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy home in perfect location!

Easy process. Great communication with host. Cozy living room to chill after long days of hiking. Grocery store very near. Packed lunch and snacks for hiking trips. Saw javelina! And like they say, trailhead for Sugarloaf just a few houses away!!

Sedona trip

Great location, only minutes away to almost anything you want, popular hiking trails, shopping and restaurants. Very Warm & welcoming place. Kitchen & Pantry were well stocked. Spacious rooms, laundry convenience were all very nice add-ons. Balcony with yoga area was great for relaxation. We found the folder that the host had compiled about suggested hikes and restaurants from personal experience very helpful. Our dog loved her morning walks at the nearby trail.

A Home Away from Home!

If you are looking for a truly comfortable and homey place to stay while you are exploring Sedona, this is it! It felt like staying at a friend's house while they were away. First of all, at 1200 sq. ft., it is fairly large. The living room is expansive with all the amenities; a comfy couch, love seat and an overstuffed chair that literally rocks. A big screen TV in the corner and a full audio system with a turntable. There are three boxes filled with vintage vinyl LP's! The windows and patio door let in lots of light and allows you to see all the trees that surround the home. From the patio adjacent to the living room, it felt like you were up in the mountains. There are all types of pines and other trees all around the side patio. One of our favorite things to do during our three night stay was to have our tea out on the patio in the morning and listen to all of the birds. It was delightful! We ate all of our meals out. But, if you wanted to cook there, the kitchen was great. Lots of counter space, every pot and pan you could think of, and plenty of plates, glasses and utensils. Surprisingly, there is a new state of the art gas range and a full size stainless refrigerator. There's a cute butcher block island that has lots of character. There is also a dining table that will seat at least four. As stated, this home is in a mature neighborhood. One of the neighbors even smiled and waved at us. There are nice views of the famous Sedona red rock as your drive up to the home. The parking space in front could easily hold two vehicles. Although you feel away from everything when you are there, it is literally only a five minute drive to the main Sedona highway, 89a. From there you have easy access to everything you would want to explore in Sedona, as well as all of the shops and restaurants. One our favorite things about the house itself is that there are two bathrooms. This was great in the morning as we didn't have to compete for counter space! The bedroom is spacious and there are indeed two beds in the room, one King and one Queen. We chose the King and it was quite comfortable. Keith, the owner was excellent with his communication. He even checked on us while we were there. After we returned home, he even checked with me again to make sure we enjoyed our stay! My wife and I have visited Sedona over thirty times. This was one of the nicest and most comfortable places we've stayed!

Can’t beat this location!

This place was perfect for our little family of 4 (plus 2 pugs) I was a bit worried about booking a 1 bedroom, but this 1 bedroom is so LARGE that it worked very well! Plenty of very soft bedding and a variety of pillows (thin, thick, feather) so that each of us could pick the type we find comfortable. This owner must realize that variety is key to keeping guest comfortable. The pull out sleeper was a typical sofa bed (not much for comfort in my opinion) but my 10 year old said it was great and had zero complaints after sleeping on it for a week. The yoga area was perfect for not just stretching but for my boys to use their VR machine in 🤷‍♀️ We ate most our meals on the front porch with the awesome view of Thunder and sugar loaf mountains and the dogs got daily walks on Teacup & sugar loaf trails that start only a few houses away. It gets VERY dark at night so star gazing was awesome and the neighbors were all very friendly. The kitchen was well stocked and all the appliances worked VERY well and were easy to operate. There is a waterfall style shower head in one of the bathrooms and a handheld massaging shower head in the other that were amazing for washing off a day of hiking or swimming. Also, the towels were thick and soft and there were plenty of them. The location felt like it was placed in the dead center of all our activities that week (only used 1/2 tank of gas ALL WEEK) It is right by major grocery stores and yet a short drive east to oak creek and shopping or the opposite direction to major popular trails and vineyards. The neighborhood gives an old school authentic vibe that is very much the way we like to explore new places (not the typical luxury cookie cutter crap you can get anywhere) So if you are looking for that, this is not the place for you. This place felt like a home away from home and like we were fitting in with local Sedona instead of Tourists. The host made sure we knew they were available if needed, but we did not need anything that wasn’t already available. Will definitely be looking to see if this place is available for our next trip to Sedona.
