We were looking for a property that was proximate to outdoor activities and urban amenities. This home is perfect for that! The home is absolutely lovely, clean, and close to everything we needed.
There was one small glitch getting into the home, and the property manager responded quickly and made sure we were taken care of. This will be our first choice on our next visit!
House was clean and had all the amenities one would need for a stay. Comfy beds and great open kitchen -family area. So close to the many walking trails behind the property! Easy to get to and from Sparks, Reno and surrounding areas.
This lovely home was as advertised. It was perfect for 4 adults. We were visiting family living in Reno and Sparks. The location was perfect for visiting both family locations and was an easy drive to the airport and downtown. Cozy and comfy, we would stay there again when visiting Reno.
Very clean. Felt like a home away from home. Had all the kitchen supplies we needed to cook a few times. Neighborhood was nice. Some noise in the mornings. Close to everything we needed to get to. Would definitely stay again if we visited the area again. Highly recommend! Thank you!!
This house was amazing for a weekend get away with family! Nice neighborhood with a pretty cool view from the backyard. Definitely recommend and would 100% book again in the future!
The house was clean and beautifully updated. It was centrally located with a Starbucks near and about 15 minutes to UNR. Loved the theme of the house and how it was uncluttered and fun! Would certainly stay again!
The house was clean, in a convenient location, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed hiking the hill behind the property. We would definitely come back.
Through the cheerful orange door lies a delightful home! Bright, clean and comfortable. Well-appointed with everything a guest might need, from the fully stocked kitchen, the handy washer/dryer, the comfortable furnishings inside…to the quiet, peaceful neighborhood outside, with a pleasant backyard and patio backing up to a large open hiking/biking area. Use of a garage is a bonus. Easy contactless check in and check out, prompt communication with the kind owner…a top notch stay at this lovely property.
If you're looking for privacy; choose somewhere else.
My family stayed here for a week after my mother died. We traveled from out of town to stay in Reno. The home is beautiful and as pictured. The beds are comfortable. The heater is noisy and lacks good air flow. The kitchen is well stocked. One shower has poor/low water pressure and takes a while to heat up and doesn’t get hot. During our stay, about a day or two into it, we received multiple communications demanding pictures of inside the house. The owners also demanded that the manager come in for an inspection a few days later because of reports from "concerned neighbors” that we have moved furniture into the home (we didn't). While the manger was lovely and very respectful, I'd never stay here or recommend it to anyone who vales their privacy. They also didn’t have the digital lock ready at check-in so we had to contact the management company for access. The owners (not the management company) made an already emotionally charged and stressful situation feel so much worse. Vrbo prides itself on giving you a home away from home, but this felt like we were in a fish bowl being watched by nosy neighbors and owners. If I was traveling alone, it would have been especially creepy.
Check in was very easy, garage was available to use but my truck was too big. House was cute abd clean. Tv had all the streaming apps available. Bed was comfortable. 10 to 15 min from anywhere we wanted to go, including the airport.
We came up for a family wedding and this place fit the bill. The home has recently been remodeled and it’s pristine. There are some staples available which were appreciated. These include ground coffee, iced tea bags, green tea bags, sugar, honey and artificial sweeteners. Also, there were a few spices and a full kitchen of utensils and pans. The back yard looks over a park and so has a nice open view. There is a patio and fire pit area. I would definitely stay again.
We stayed 2 nights in this lovely home. It was decorated so cute! The house is very cozy, and you just feel right at home! The house was very very well stocked. We appreciated that. Neighborhood was nice and quiet and no one in back of you. I highly recommend this home.
My family and I came for a weekend getaway to visit some family that lived in Sparks and we could not have been more pleased. This house is perfect. Clean and organized with everything that you would need and more. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is located in a great location. And I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a cute little place in Sparks Nevada.
Beautiful home with everything you would ever need for your stay. Host was easy to contact. Really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and open view of the hillside in the backyard. Neighborhood was quiet and close to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Orange door review
Well first thing we couldn’t get in to the rental because our code to get in the door wasn’t working.
But the neighbor came to the rescue and let us in because we showed him our rental agreement we got our blood groceries unloaded and bags out of the car pulled into the garage and then got a hold of the property owner to get a key from the dropbox so we had our own key after that
