This classic, 4br/5ba, split-level, 4,063 sq ft brick and moss rock home offers guests a park-like mountain setting on 3 pristine acres just southwest of Cody, Wyoming. Quintessential western living less than an hour from the East Gate of Yellowstone Park, close to Shoshone National Forest and Buffalo Bill Reservoir for water activities. Private, yet only 10 minutes from downtown Cody.
Just after golden sunset, the mountain winds have a cool, sage-brush and cedar fragrance. The night sky is deep and dark; stargazing here is spectacular. Listen for owls, elk or coyotes. Listen closely to wind in the canyons; you may just hear the timeless echo of galloping hoofbeats, as deparados such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid make a getaway from their latest heist.
This property pays homage to folklore and legends surrounding The Hole-in-the-Wall Gang, and iconic Old West stories that revolve around clashes between the law and the outlaw. (The “hole” is a pass eroded in the Red Wall sandstone escarpment of the Big Horn Mountains that was used secretly by Butch Cassidy and the Wild Bunch Gang in the late 1800’s.)
Raw wood, natural stone, hardwood floors, sturdy, rugged wood & leather furniture, butcher block style kitchen counters, pine cabinets, rough-hewn pine accents, and wood paneled vaulted sunroom ceiling give this home a rustic, authentic Old West ambiance. Old West Memorabilia and Hole-in-the-Wall Gang antiquities adorn the lower level bar area.
Enjoy stunning mountain views from every window in this spacious home. It features two master bedrooms—one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen-size bed—for added comfort and privacy. The remaining bedrooms are also furnished with queen-size beds, providing ample space for everyone. The home includes two full bathrooms with shower/tub combinations, one bathroom with a standalone shower, two half-baths, and an additional new shower conveniently located next to the sunroom. Built for entertaining on a large scale, the home comfortably sleeps 18 guests, making it perfect for multi-family stays or group getaways.
Vacation in style and create memories. This classic home has multiple gathering areas; an eat-in-kitchen with two tables (gives kids and adults their own separate dining space), a huge sunroom with vaulted ceilings, a wood burning stove and brick floors, comfortable sunken living room with tons of natural light, and a lavish basement entertainment center with a big screen TV and sitting area, game tables including foosball, Infinity Table and an arcade with electronic pinball machine and PacMan arcade games.
Outdoors, gather your “Wild Bunch” around the rustic Fire Pit for s’mores or sit on the patio and enjoy mountain views as you enjoy the natural beauties of Wyoming with family and friends.
This mountain home boasts hardwood floors throughout the living and dining areas, upscale appliances and furnishings, has a washer and dryer on the main floor, and has Starlink internet to stream your favorite movies and shows. There is covered carport parking for two cars and driveway parking for at least five vehicles.
In spring, bald eagles soar, meadows fill with wildflowers. The Cody Rodeo is world-renowned, and offers nightly summertime rodeos. Buffalo Bill Cody museum is a major attraction as well. Rafting, fishing, hiking and cycling are popular in summer and fall. In winter, ice climbing and world class skiing are easily accessible. This is a spacious and tranquil all-season home for discerning travelers who appreciate the area’s natural splendor. Hole in the Wall Getaway is the ideal basecamp for all your Western adventures.
Guests will have a touchless checkin process using a personalized lock code and will have access to the entire house.

About the host
Hosted by Jacob Lewis

Wyoming has a special place in our hearts. Having attended Kindergarten and First grade together in a small Wyoming town, Vicki and Jake Lewis later remet, fell in love and have been married for over 20 years. Travel has been a mainstay in their lives as they have spent time all around the world, but always love coming home to Wyoming. Hole in the Wall Getaway in Cody first became a reality as a place to come and relax when visiting family and friends. We hope that you and your family will also be able to enjoy spending time together and relaxing in the wild wonders of Wyoming.
