The family-friendly home was perfect for our large group! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and there were plenty of towels, linens, and space for everyone to spread out comfortably. The pool was fantastic and quickly became everyone’s favorite spot. Communication with the host was easy, friendly, and responsive from start to finish. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this home to others!

This was a weekend celebrating our son's retirement from the Navy. The weather and accommodations were great. The family loved the big yard, front and back, and the pool. We would gladly rent it again if we could get our whole family together.

This home is beautiful, clean, and fully equipped. The owner was super responsive as was his cleaning lady who helped answer any questions I had about the property. We had the best weekend enjoying the pool and the spacious kitchen and living room area with our friends. We will definitely be back next year! Thanks Doug and April!

It was a gorgeous and spacious abode with many attractive and useful amenities from the many beds, to the fireplace, to the gym. Amongst many other things. Would love to stay here again.

Great for a family gathering

We had a family reunion and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds we’re comfortable, pool was a highlight for the kids and the open kitchen and family room provided great space for gathering.

We had specifically selected this property for the outside fire pit. When we got there it was clearly inoperable and no mention was made of this even though I had asked the host prior. In addition there was a major leak in the bathroom above the kitchen. It was clearly visible from the kitchen ceiling that multiple prior leaks had occurred and were sloppily patched up without addressing the true problem. I have included photos of the multi patched ceiling and broken fire pit. The house felt cluttered and poorly maintained. Finally there were many restrictions and rules for outside activity that were only communicated during the check in process.

"Thank you for your feedback. We take property maintenance very seriously and immediately addressed these items. Regarding the fire pit, we apologize for the inconvenience during your stay; it was completely replaced with a brand-new unit for future guests right after your checkout. Regarding the water damage, both our cleaner and our repair contractor confirmed that the plumbing is in perfect working order and that the water came from a bathtub accidentally overflowing during your stay. We immediately had the ceiling fully repaired. We understand you were disappointed that we could not grant the 20% post-stay discount that you requested because we cannot absorb rental deductions for issues arising from guest-caused accidental damage. We always aim to be fair and ensure our home is in top condition for every guest."

Perfect for Family Gatherings

We did a guys golf trip hitting courses around both Baltimore and Washington DC. We didn’t spend much time at the property but plenty of rooms and beds and perfect to get a few families together and meet up for a vacation

An amazing house and wonderful hosts

Perfect place for a celebration vacation

For the USNA Ring Dance a group of family & friends wanted a house large enough to accommodate everyone but still close to the Academy. The size was perfect. Loved having a pool and outdoor space. This is the perfect place!

Perfect for a family gathering

This house fit our needs and wants perfectly for a family get together. Close to the airport for out of state guests and plenty of parking. We stayed in the winter and did not take advantage of the yard or pool which look like they’d be plenty of fun in the warmer months! Features a super kitchen and eating area.

Bachelorette weekend

We stayed at this property for a low key bachelorette weekend and the property was fantastic. Owner is communicative and quick to respond. The pool area is clean and has plenty of space for mid size groups. Lots of room within the home to hangout and have group meals.

We used this property for a two-day off-site work retreat and it afforded plenty of space for team building and many breakout strategic conversations. Appreciated the open layout and the significant amount of storage as well.

Alumni Reunion

The property was perfect for our Alumni Reunion weekend for our class teammates and their spouses. The spaciousness of the property really allowed for us to enjoy each other’s company. The property manager was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this location to anyone staying in the area, and would absolutely stay here again if given the opportunity!

Very sorry to hear you thought we were picky. We have had a lot of issues with guests being too loud and bothering our neighbors. So to keep our neighbors happy, we ask guests to not disturb our neighbors. We are in a quiet neighborhood so we are not a good fit for folks who are looking party house or place to have large or loud groups. We have since updated the house rules so guests so know up front what guests we are a good fit for what guests we are not a good for. thank you, Douglas

Excellent property

We were in town for my loved ones funeral. It made our stay much easier to get through. My only negative is the only 2 bathrooms upstairs and 1/2 bath on main level. It’s a beautiful property from a lovely family. I really appreciated they provided enough paper goods for our stay as well.
