Riverfront Cottage on the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River offering a large enclosed porch overlooking the River!

This newly remodeled cottage offers an updated kitchen with granite countertops, dining area, living room, bathroom, and enclosed front porch with rocking chairs on the main floor. The loft offers an open bedroom with a view of the river and an office area.
   
Outdoors, you will find a firepit, picnic table, lawn chairs, grill, and access down to the river. The Juniata River offers a great place to sit and relax and build a campfire or if you want to get out on the water you can fish, kayak, or canoe.  Kayaks are available with a signed waiver. Raystown Lake is located approximately 25 minutes away. The depth and clarity of the river will depend upon the weather and cannot be guaranteed by the property owner.

The loft offers a Double Size Bed, and the living room offers a sofa bed with a Double-size mattress.

The Kitchen is stocked with dinnerware, cookware, kitchen utensils, microwave, and Keurig. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom are all stocked with linens and towels.

Cell phone service is limited, and no house phone is available. WIFI is provided by Brightspeed and is 10Mbps or less. Flatscreen TV has a firestick connected.

NOTE:
This is a unique cottage with steep steps leading up to the loft bedroom and down to the river. These and other carefully curated features add to the distinct character and charm of the property. But they may pose safety risks for very young children and those with mobility challenges. Please ensure that you’re comfortable with these elements before booking.

Firewood is not provided.
Kayaks are usable with a signed waiver.
No parties or fireworks.
No Smoking.
No Pets.
Other cottages are located on both sides of the subject cottage.
Drinking and cooking water is provided. Well water is not potable.
