Was looking for a place to stay during a golf tournament at Omni as the inn was full. Perfect little setup for a couple. My wife enjoyed the shops in town while I was on the course! There was a ton of birds and wildlife around the cabin! Very clean and includes all the necessities.
Lovely & comfortable property that is fully stocked with everything you need. Tonya is a great host! Easy to work with & quick responses. Second time I’ve stayed here and would definitely book again.
My wife and I were looking for a less expensive alternative to staying at the Bedford Springs resort, where my wife stayed as a child. Tonya’s house was the perfect alternative, and its location which is directly across from the resort’s beautiful golf course, provided us the best of both worlds. It is nestled in the woods among other similar “mushroom” houses, which are the coolest designed structures! We would highly recommend this quiet, beautiful and unique getaway treasure of a place to stay.
We usually stay at Bedford Springs down the street, but they were sold out due to the fall foliage festival… Found this gem and I may not go back due to its charm and serious cost effectiveness by comparison!
We only stayed one night but wish it was longer. The place was so very nice. Very clean and everything thing u need. The town was cute with lots to do. Beautiful golf course. Would recommend it and go back again.
Great little place. Very homey. Snow storm blew in and dumped 6 inches of snow overnight. There was a shovel and salt accessible for us that morning to get to the vehicle. Great stay.
Tonya's roundhouse/treehouse was wonderful! The setting was intimate and peaceful, and a lovely location to celebrate a birthday. Tonya was quick to respond and very welcoming. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!
We had a nice weekend getaway never stayed in a octagon home before felt like you were in a treehouse. Does need some attention on the outside of the house. The host was quick to respond.
Cabin was just as described but no flag on the deck

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
It’s a very charming cabin right behind Bedford Springs Hotel. The owner of the tree pod cabin was very nice yet very responsive if you needed anything. I will def. Go back. The people around that area waved or say hi to you. Very nice tree pod community.
What no hallways? Octagonal homes have no need for one! Unique floor plan is very pleasing. The morning sun illuminates the surrounding trees - beautiful! A quiet getaway convenient to town.
Thank you!
My husband and I had such a nice stay to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. This property is cozy and charming. It’s tucked away in a beautiful wooded area, and the timing of our stay was perfect with regard to peak fall colors. The property was beautiful inside and out.
It’s clean, well maintained, and nicely stocked with the essentials.
Communication with the property owner was EXCELLENT from the beginning. A few days prior to our stay, we received a message detailing everything that we might need to know from start to finish.
We highly recommend! We are already planning to return next year!
Loved this interesting house so close to the Omni Bedford Springs
What an interesting house, shaped like a mushroom. There's a small collection of a dozen or so of houses like this, with a central core and the rooms clustered around a central spiral staircase. You enter upstairs from a deck, and the house is round with tree-level windows in every room. Really unique!
The house is nicely equipped and the bed was by far the most comfortable I can remember in any of the VRBOs I've stayed in. The only issue I had was that the windows are not designed to open - only the entry door and a sliding glass door in the dining room and a small one near the kitchen. It would have been nice to open the windows to the cool mountain breezes overnight instead of using the HVAC. Not a complaint at all, merely an observation.
Communications with Tonya, the owner, were excellent, and her instructions and responses to questions were clear and prompt.
It's practically across the road from the Omni, and so much more personable and homey than the corporate hotel. The hotel is lovely, and the spa and other recreational activities are great, but this house was much more my cup of tea.
