About this property

Seize the day! Welcome to Carpe Diem. A beautiful 9 acre wonderland. This charming property features a new cabin with 2 separate quarters ( can not be rented separately), sleeps 5 people.
On the property, you will be greeted with a koi pond, hot tub, fire pit, and large deck. The acreage has manicured hiking trails , fruit trees .
Enjoy the wildlife, where it's common to see deer, foxes, ducks, turkey, and a variety of birds. Rest on one of the benches, and take in the various artistic totems throughout the trails. 3/4 Mile to lake. There is NO smoking, children under 13 or animals allowed anywhere on the property. No exceptions. ***HOT TUB is out of service from November to March due to weather.
There are security cameras around the property as well as Wynd Sentry Smoking/Noise detectors inside the cabins.

Restful, recharging

Had to cut our stay a bit short but we would definitely go back. Cabin is small but well-appointed, property is beautiful — we had a great time walking on the hiking trails and just sitting by the koi pond and relaxing.

Great Vacay!

We watched leaves turn, took in local sights and restaurants, drank wine and slept like babies! Jessica was a great host who anticipated all of our needs, there was nothing lacking in this cabin. I recommend this property for anyone who wants to refuel, recharge, and relax.

We met in Lake Arrowhead, CA over 20 years ago. Our love for nature, and seasons, brought us together. Later, we relocated to Texas, and since then have built a wonderful life that includes 3 adult children. We bought this place as a vacation/retirement home; unfortunately, we are NO WHERE near ready for retirement. We are not property managers, we are a family who loves our cabin. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

This is a beautiful, peaceful, place. 9 acres with an abundance of wildlife, and scenery. In the spring and summer you can boat, ski, golf, fish and hike all within a mile from the house. In the winter you can ice fish on Oneida Lake, cross country ski and snowmobile on the property or elsewhere. Casinos and great restaurants close by.

What makes this property unique

Never have to leave the property, but if you do there’s so much an abundance of fun activities to enjoy. Go to Sylvan Beach just 15 min away, or go to Turning Stone Casino.
