About this property

Buck Hill Tiny Home Cabin #2 Mountain & Pond Views

Our "Tiny Home Cabin #2" features a cozy living room with TV, full bathroom, full kitchen (fridge, gas range, microwave, coffee maker) an overhead ceiling fan, AC as well as a wall furnace propane heater. The main floor has a king bed and there are 2 sleeping lofts (queen memory gel foam mattress & 2 twins in the 2nd loft.) Enjoy a spacious covered porch that overlooks our Campground's grassy fields & large pond as well as 360-degree Mountain views. Enjoy fishing, hiking, tubing and more!

Our property sits along 1600 ft of the North Toe River (stocked with Trout) and is 10 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Western North Carolina. Tiny Home Cabin #2 can comfortably sleep up to 6 people and features a king bed on the main floor and has 2 sleeping lofts, one with a queen memory gel foam bed and the other with 2 twin mattresses. The cabin has a cozy living room with a TV and has a full kitchen with a refrigerator, gas range, microwave, and coffee maker. The cabin has several windows that look directly out to our fishing pond and allow great mountain breezes (aided by a ceiling fan) as well as panoramic Mountain views. The cabin also has an AC for the warmer summer days as well as a propane furnace that keeps the cabin plenty warm during the Fall or Winter nights. The cabin has a covered porch that looks directly at our pond and Buck Hill Mountain. Enjoy s'mores by your fire pit any time of the year! Or grill out using our communal park style charcoal grills by our pond. You bring your own pillows, linens/blankets, and towels for the bathroom, your fishing poles, and your hiking shoes (the campground is 144 acres and we have a hiking trail to the top of Buck Hill Mountain, approximately a 60 minute hike for most people) The campground also has a laundry facility, arcade room (recently renovated with billiards, 4 pinball machines, air hockey, and arcade games) and a dedicated fiber service that provides free high speed internet all over the campground! We also added a basketball court and pickleball courts for our guests to enjoy! Snow lovers we are only 12 miles from tubing at Jonas Ridge and 22 miles from Skiing at Sugar Mountain!

The entire tiny home cabin and campground is available for our guests to enjoy! Guests will have access to the following amenities on the campground:

Free Wifi
Game Room (billiards, pinball, arcade games)
2 Bath Houses (with hot showers and clean rest rooms)
North Toe River (great for fishing, tubing, kayaking)
Picnic Table & Fire Ring outside cabin door
Coin Laundry Room
Gathering Room w/TV, library of books and card tables
Basketball Court and 2 pickleball courts!

We are pet friendly ($50 pet fee per dog) but guests must keep their pets leashed and picked up after. We also ask that pets do not get up in the lofts of cabins. Please do NOT move beds or furniture in the cabins. Guests who move furniture and scratch the floors/walls will be billed for damages. All our cabins are non-smoking, guests will be charged a $500 smoke penalty for smoking in the cabins.

Because we just moved our cabins to the VRBO platform this week we realize we have no reviews here yet. But our 11 cabins have HUNDREDS of 5 star reviews on google reviews and airbnb if you'd like to know more about our cabins and level of service we provide our guests. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/17176988

Clean, Quaint, and communicative.
We stayed in the tiny cabin and it was adorable and just enough space for us all. The communication with the host was easy as he quickly responded anytime we messaged. It's a bit away from other things and places, when we went searching for dinner, most the mom and pop restraunts were closed as it was a Tuesday. But the cabin and the host were amazing and i would recommend it!

Great stay
We stayed for the weekend and we all had a blast. The kids loved trying to catch some fish in the little pond and the river. Thanks for a great camping experience.
