Summary:

No 116 at D Sands Condominiums is a lovely ground floor, privately owned studio condo. Enjoy a cozy gas fireplace from the comfortable queen bed for 2 or from the loveseat while watching a breathtaking ocean view. Guests can also enjoy the oceanfront balcony or the properties beach access staircase. Other amenities include a walk-in shower and a kitchenette stocked with basic dish ware, cook ware, and full appliances. The HOA also provides internet, cable, and access to an indoor pool.



The Space:

No 116 at D Sands Condominiums is a lovely ground floor, privately-owned studio condo. Enjoy a cozy gas fireplace from the comfortable queen bed for 2 or from the loveseat while watching a breathtaking ocean view. Guests can also enjoy the oceanfront balcony or the properties beach access staircase. Other amenities include a walk-in shower and a kitchenette stocked with basic dishes, cookware, and full appliances. The HOA also provides internet, cable, and access to an indoor pool.

The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. The indoor, heated salt water pool and hot tub can be accessed via a Pool Code on the North side of the Office building.

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.

The bed is a double and the mattress needs to be replaced.Paking is difficult for full sized vehicle's on the south end, particularly when staff parks in the only handicap space.On the other hand everything else is excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The cleanliness was good, but upon arrival, when I opened the front door I was welcomed with the overwhelming odor of wet dog and a heavily scented room treatment. By day two, it was aired out nicely. The room was comfortable and had gorgeous ocean views. I would definitely stay here again.

Desperately need updating

Location was great. No air-conditioning left a very warm room and where condo is people were on beach all night so leaving door open was noisy. Room VERY outdated. View was amazing.

This was a great time.

We were disapointed the pool was closed. Offered us to drive to a pool but I didn’t come here to drive to the pool. We would not have stayed here without a pool. Beautiful unit, close parking, walkable to things around. Love the balcony. May God bless this unit.

I actually enjoy when Ship Happens to me...

We found a last-minute window to head to the coast, but were worried about finding an affordable accommodation. We booked just 2 1/2 weeks before our stay and were overwhelmingly happy with the condo we go through the D Sands. The room had all new paint and decor, and the sounds of the ocean right outside our window was exactly what we needed for our stay. Plenty of towels, seats, and kitchen items to satisfy our every whim, We are definitely keeping this one bookmarked for future trips to Lincoln City.

Great besides parking.

It was good besides we went and got dinner and there was no place at all to park my pickup. So I got pretty stressed out on that for a little bit. Ended up parking up by the highway a little bit off the sidewalk. Besides that it was great thank you.

I'm sorry to hear that the parking was stressful during your stay. Our centralized location between the beach and Highway 101 does mean that the parking lot is smaller than we would like, and we do our best to inform guests of the overflow parking options and ask that guests limit themselves to one vehicle if possible. But on the busiest weekends larger vehicles can have an especially difficult time since they don't fit in the carports. We sincerely hope that the rest of your stay more than made up for that moment of stress, and we appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. I think they should change the name of the unit. Ship happens does not imply you are going to have a good time.

Our room was perfect. We had such an awesome view. Unfortunately we weren't able to sit on the deck because of the weather but that was okay. We had the most relaxing time while we were there. The only thing was when I went to use the microwave my finger got pinched because the handle was broken. I was still able to use it by opening it with the top of the handle. I told the girl in the office when we left because I didn't want her to think that we broke it. We would definitely stay there again and feel so blessed we had the opportunity to stay there.

Studio unit was beautifully and tastefully decorated. Bed and furniture were comfortable. Furnishings including kitchen we're functional and sufficient except for having no hairdryer, which is a major mistake in my book. At this class and price of accommodation, hairdryers are expected and universally furnished. We stayed in two different units, and the second one had a hair dryer. This inconsistency in basic furnishing is quite irritating and shouldn't occur.

We enjoyed a wonderful time in Ship Happens 116. One unnerving event was the late evening I was sitting on the balcony when dark rat ran the length of the balcony between condos. It ruined the peaceful evening.
