Gem on the Creek is a beautiful and well-appointed home that provides quiet & space to unwind after great adventures in the mountains. The peaceful sound of the creek, along with the chirping of the birds, invites serenity that's hard to find.

Newly remodeled home with all new furniture and ultraviolet light air purification system.

Near gem mines, incredible motorcycle rides, waterfalls, hiking, tubing and whitewater rafting. Very easy access with a paved road right to the door, 6 minutes to town and some great choices for food, or use the incredible kitchen to enjoy meals at home.

Franklin get away

This was our 2nd stay at this property. It’s a well appointed great property and owner is wonderful. Dog friendly, quiet location, creekside relaxing. Dry affordable for location.

Strategic location

We were very surprised when we opened the door. The home was extremely clean, well stocked, and decorated with Christmas trees. We selected the Gem due to its location. Less than 2 hours to Gatlinburg and the areas throughout North Ga that we planned on visiting. Tastefully decorated and very well maintained. We will definitely utilize the Gem again when in that area.

Christmas Cottage in the Mountains

We loved the property. Anything that we needed was there. The furnishings were high quality and made the stay feel like "home." We were surprised to see that the property owner made sure the house was "Christmas-y" with a tree in the living room and each bedroom. There were also tasteful and festive holiday touches throughout. We highly recommend this property and will definitely book again!

My friends and family love the mountains and when I found this place, it just fit! We can have fun locally or head out to NOC, Bryson City and the train, get to Cherokee and across the mountain to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg or head to Blue Ridge and make a day of it. We are motorcycle enthusiasts and searched for a place with access for our bike and with incredible nearby rides. I feel comfortable here and can rest or explore - depending on the day.
