We enjoyed the convenience of the location. Ample parking for two cars. I would not recommend this location for anyone with mobility issues. As it is on an incline. The home was clean and supplied with everything one may need to cook a meal. Chloe was quick to respond. She truly wants her guests to enjoy their stay and come back again.
The duplex was clean, comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. It was a short walk to the downtown area. Perfect place for what we needed.
Chloe's house is in a great location, right downtown. We've stayed there twice now, and plan to go back. Chloe is very responsive. The house is clean, the kitchen is large and the beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is quite walkable. We will be back!
Entrance 3 dangerous steps to door. One side railing only which was loose. In order to drop off my mom I had to put hazard lights on my car. This was at the suggestion of the property owner when I said that the front was on major road with blind curve. I could not stay other than the first night as we arrived late. I informed the owner. Also the house was extremely cold. The thermostat was outside but n the basement which did not work properly. My elderly mom was overwhelmed with dangerous entrance. I had to walk outside down the house. There was a door which I thought was the basement. I kept trying my key for some time when suddenly a lady with bloody scars on her face opened the door. Shocked I apologized and said I was looking for the thermostat. So this was a horrible and dangerous nightmare. I call and messaged the owner demanding a refund for the remaining 2 nights.

Spacious but poor location
The fact that it is in downtown is great, the exact location is very poor as it sits as the lone residence on a block of run down commercial buildings. The home is on a curve with limited sight lines, so it is difficult entering and exiting the driveway as traffic takes the curve quickly. This is not comforting for an elderly couple. The driveway is steep for an older person who is slightly disabled, as it is a steep walk and there is no sidewalk at the front door side of the building. The second entrance is a flight of stairs at the rear of the property going up to the second floor, also not easy for someone who is impaired. The home was built in 1940 but the interior is up-to-date, very spacious and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, with the exception of the fact that one was initially unable to control the temperature as the thermostat is in the laundry room downstairs and controls both units. Host made accomodations for this. but it would have been nice to know in advance. There is a regular stream of single males using the driveway as a shortcut to Main Street, apparently from and to a local grocery store, not comforting. The ad gives an impression of a grassy backyard, but there is only a gravel alleyway between the home and the rear of a commercial building. The interior is quiet and comfortable but the location of the property is unacceptable. We would not book here again.
This property was comfortable, clean and very convenient to town. It was perfect for our 80's Flashback weekend! It had everything we needed to have a great time. Thank You!
Nice place close to town. Walking distance to several restaurants and a brewery. Driving distance to several attractions. If you are looking for a nice place with lots of peace and quiet it is worth a consideration.
I really enjoyed my stay here. The house was centrally located to a lot of great places. Also walking distance to downtown with restaurants and shopping.
We had a ball in town and visiting family locally. The House was in a great location to that. Short walks to restaurants in town and to a great park for out dogs. Communication with the owner was easy, prompt and helpful. We really felt at home even though we were there for a short time. Wonderful town, wonderful rental.
Property was fine. Surprised by the lack of amenities compared to the other properties that we’ve stayed at. We did leave behind a piece of luggage and they contacted us in a timely manner which we really appreciated.
House was convenient to town. Chloe was accessible to help with some initial problems. Property could use some cosmetic improvements (torn curtains, broken blinds, e.g.) Icemaker was not working, so some ice trays to make ice would help.
