IMPORTANT TO NOTE: *** PLEASE READ ***
• The interior stairs to the upper and lower levels are steep, so extra caution is advised for young children and older guests. • Please be aware that bears are commonly seen in the area. Use caution when walking around corners, as sudden encounters can startle them. If you see a bear, maintain a safe distance and never try to feed, touch, or approach it. Always keep your vehicle locked to prevent bears from getting inside in search of food. • The cabin is situated on a mountain, and the roads leading to it are steep, narrow, and winding. A 4-wheel drive is recommended, especially in poor weather. Snow, ice, fog, or rain can make driving hazardous, so it's best to check in before dark due to challenging road conditions and limited GPS or cell service. • An electronic keypad is available for guest convenience, with the access code sent through the in-app messenger two hours before check-in. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM.
BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: (by confirming your reservation, you agree to the following)
• Pets are allowed with an additional fee; they must be well-trained. Clean up pet hair and feces. Pet damage fees start at $300. • No smoking or drug use allowed inside the cabin. Violations incur fees starting at $300. • No glitter or confetti allowed. Cleanup will result in a $100 additional fee. • Only flush toilet paper in the toilet—no feminine products or other materials. The septic system works well but will clog if misused. Improper flushing may result in damage charges up to $1,000. • Place all trash in the cans inside the bear-proof containers and keep them closed at all times. Do not leave trash outside the cabin anywhere else. • Please treat our home with care. Do not remove any furnishings or items from the cabin. Following inspection, damaged or missing items may result in a deduction from the security deposit or extra charges. • The owners are not responsible for loss of personal belongings, accidents, injuries, or illnesses on the property. • Guests assume all risks associated with their stay, including harm to themselves or others they invite. • No refunds are given for storms, natural disasters, or road conditions. • Children under 18 must be supervised in the hot tub. Use it at your own risk and consult a doctor if unsure. Do not stand on the cover—damage may result in a $350 charge. Always keep the cover on when not in use to retain heat.

Joshua! Would love to have you again! It is great hearing that you will be back :) The view and location are some of our favorites about Blythe's Place too :)
Staying at the cabin was an enjoyable time for my husband and I along with our adult kids. We appreciate the host’s flexibility with allowing an extra dog. It was great that we had bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor giving each of us space & privacy. We enjoyed the well equipped Kitchen as we cooked in our entire stay. The hot tub was great for our sore muscles after hikes to The Chimneys, Rainbow Falls, and Abrams Falls. We spent evenings playing board games and pool. The location was perfect close to Gatlinburg and not too far away from hiking trailheads.

We are happy that Blythe's Place and its spacious living areas accommodated you and your friends well, Marissa! Thanks for taking the time out of your day to write us some feedback :) Come on back!
What a wonderful stay we had! The A-Frame was warm and inviting with plenty of room for our family of 8. Great views from the deck of Gatlinburg and surrounding mountains!! About an eight minute drive to both the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Gatlinburg and taking the Bypass had us over in Pigeon Forge in less than a half hour. Brittany, our host was very welcoming and reached out periodically during our stay to make sure we were pleased with the house and to inquire if we needed anything. Great house, beautiful location! Highly recommend. RS

David, thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to leave us such a kind review! We are thrilled that you had a wonderful stay with your family and that you were able to witness some wildlife right outside of the cabin. God bless!
This property was the perfect mountain getaway for our Fall Break! Tucked high in the mountains away from the business of Gatlinburg proper but close enough to get there quickly. This is a very clean cabin with wonderful views and an occasional local visitor (see picture of black bear). The owners were in communication if we needed anything. Highly recommend!

The cabin was just as promised. It had plenty of space and a good view while still being close to downtown. The downstairs was perfect for the teenagers while the adults enjoyed the upper floors.

Only thing not positive was no hangers in closet, and didnt realize the walk to hot tub... scared of bears in dark! Otherwise a very nice retreat!

Sorry about the hangers, Cindy! Those are one of those items that tend to "walk off." We will ensure we provide some new ones for guest hanging items. The walk to the hot tub is off of the lower deck. The lower deck connects to the hot tub terrace, which is visible in one of our listing photos. There are lights out there as well. We have never heard of the bears causing any trouble while people are enjoying the hot tub :)
Very nice property, beautiful views. Beware of falling acorns in the fall and make sure you keep your cars locked as there are some furry friends that like to raid the vehicles otherwise. We didn't mind, just learned our lesson the first night. Definitely recommend staying here though for sure!!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to write us a review, Sarah! We are glad that you loved the views. Great advice you gave to future guests here as far as making sure vehicles are locked to keep our furry friends out :)
I don’t think we have ever stayed in a more comfortable rental property. The kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfortable, the deck was beautiful. It was plenty of room for our family of five. The boys loved playing pool and going in the hot tub on the days we had rain. The views are breathtaking. You’re a 10 minute drive to town and also some hiking paths. Lastly, I really appreciated that the owners were so responsive! Would highly recommend staying here!
