This home is even more beautiful than the listing. It is impeccably clean and the beds are so comfortable. We booked a trail ride, fished for large mouth bass in the pond and hiked the beautiful property. A fantastic restaurant is just down the road. The Browns are such nice people. Correspondence was quick and friendly.
We returned to the Brazos Ranch Log Home because it has it all that we enjoy most: quiet, private, surrounded by nature, and fishing and hiking on the property. Plus, all that that the City of Waco has to offer close by. Plus, if you’re so inclined the owners offer horse back riding on the ranch.
What an amazing place to stay :-) Host is so friendly and helpfull. The place is even more stunning than the photos on the webpage. We had a wonderfull stay here. Don't miss their horseback rinding into the sunset tehy offer at the ranch as well. The place is clean, beautyful and lives up to the presentation 10 folds.
It was my 40th birthday and we were planning on just grabbing a hotel but on our way we checked here. So glad we did! What an amazing property and stay! Quiet and clean. 15 stars. Great communication. Love the homestead community and the Waffle Co! Great communication with host as well as we left a few things and they are coordinating getting it to us. So nice! Will stay again if in the area!
Breathtaking cabin located on the quiet ranch land. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the front porch rocking chairs, big dining room table to gather. And we happily took part in the horseback riding that the ranch had to offer. Will definitely return.
This home is so charming, and pleasant. The beds are comfortable. It has all the mod cons needed. The water pressure is great for showering. The water stayed hot while in the bath, and the front bathroom has a detachable shower head, which I really appreciated. Liquid bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets were available too. The home is located down a two(?)mile, very private road, which makes for a quieter, more serene stay. It’s approximately 8 miles off of I-35.Homestead Heritage is on the way to the home. Definitely search HH before going. It will be a wonderfully convenient place to visit, shop, and eat. The Cafe Homestead has wonderful food. No alcohol is served, but one can BYOB of wine, and pay a set up fee. One in our party uses a walker. There is a safe and sturdy ramp for easy accessibility. We loved this place so much that we booked again in May.
Amazing little cabin in an area that feels secluded but is actually close to town. Great walking trails with a short hike to a beautiful overlook spot to watch the sunset. A little gem!
Everything about it was pitch perfect. We loved staying in such a quiet and beautiful setting. It is still close enough to do anything in Waco.
The property is walking distance to the Homestead Heritage and we were there during the sorghum festival. I’d definitely recommend checking it out.
We stayed at the property for a family/anniversary trip! We had a great time just slowing down and exploring Heritage Village. We will definitely rebook this lovely home the next time we want to take a family trip!
Although the cabin is a bit difficult to find, once you arrive it is beyond worth the trouble. Its been a long time since I was able to fall asleep in total silence. Wonder location and will be a common stay for us as we visit our daughter at Baylor.
The cabin house was perfect for our getaway. We wanted something quiet and away from others. This place was perfect! Secluded and hidden by so many trees, the peacefulness and scenery was just absolutely beautiful. Would love to stay here again and again!
The ranch property was beautiful and just as described. Me and my family enjoyed walking the trails and the peace and quiet the cabin provided. We also booked the horseback riding at the ranch and the service and experience was 10/10
Beautiful property and location - need more cleaning
We enjoyed our stay. The location is beautiful and very quiet. We enjoyed the little lake and trails surrounding the property.
Downside is that it needs better cleaning. We found a "lot" of hair in the bathrooms before we even used it. The dryer's filter wasn't cleaned for a looong time and the kitchen equipment also could use a good scrub.
We have stayed here once a year for the past four years. It is a beautiful cabin and setting. The homestead cafe is walkable and a do-not-miss dining experience! We love this cabin!
This place was amazing so peaceful but near all you'd want to visit. Fished in the pond and caught 4 nice size bass (released all). Beds super comfy, house was very clean and well stocked. Saw a bunch of horses passing by the house on the last day which was AMAZING.
Wonderful family get away ahead of the holidays. Hosts were quick to answer all questions. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
