An old water mill, converted into a luxurious yet cozy spa and country house.
The villa is really an old watermill (presumably from 1674) that has been nicely restored and converted into a luxurious yet cozy spa and country house. The project author is the architect Stefano Zaghini.
On the first floor, behind an impressive glass-fronted entrance, is the living room with flat screen TV and satellite receiver (Sky Sport, Sky Cinema has complimentary reception) and fireplace. In the fully equipped kitchen and in the dining area on the wall still the axis of the watermill is visible.
There are two bedrooms, one with a private bathroom and a king-size bed, the other with a king-size bed and a double sofa bed. An additional toilet / shower room is also on this floor.
On the ground floor there is a spa area with jacuzzi, sauna, hammam and chromotherapy as well as a shower and a toilet.
Outside there is an impressively designed heated swimming pool with foot massage in the middle of a large garden with shrubs and an organic vegetable garden (guests may feel free to harvest the vegetables during their stay).
A fenced area of approximately 2 hectares adjacent to the Faena River, which has mature cherry trees (hence the name of the villa, which literally means "cherry mill"), completes the property benefiting from home automation.
