Just 3 miles to downtown Gatlinburg and 6 miles from Pigeon Forge, you're right in the middle of all the beauty of the Smoky Mountains! Pools open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day unless weather permits longer.

With its large deck and luxury amenities, you are sure to feel comfortable during your stay. The roads leading to the condo are winding; but they are all paved, two-way roads. After your first couple of times up and down the mountain, you’ll be a pro!

**We suggest that you use your mobile phones navigation for directions to the condo. We have found that some of the vehicle navigations take you to the wrong address (Road behind the condo instead of the road where the parking lot is.)

We do have routine pest control, however we are located in the middle of the great outdoors, and bugs and critters can enter through open doors and/or windows.

You have access to ALL pools with your stay!

Quiet time is to be observed between 11PM and 7AM daily per HOA.

*Wood Burning Fireplace* Wood to be provided by the guest. Please ensure the flue is open prior to use. Guest will be responsible for any smoke damage that occurs.

Short power outages do occur at times due to the elements/branches down that are beyond the owners control, but are quickly restored by the city. Refunds will not be provided for power/internet outages-we recommend that you always purchase travel insurance.

Winter Bookings: We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance through a third-party company or through the booking platform. An inch or two of snow is possible from December to February and refunds will not be provided for weather, travel disruptions, illness, etc., outside of the standing cancellation policy.


There is a large parking lot with sufficient parking for 2-3 vehicles if needed.

Knotty Alpine Cove is located in the popular Chalet Village near Ski Mountain Rd, less than a mile from Ober Mountain. It is a short 3 mile drive to the Gatlinburg Strip, or take the Sky Tram down from Ober!

Community Clubhouse on site
Although the condo is located on the ground floor, stairs are required from the parking lot to reach the front door. To locate the condo stairwell, park near the stair entry that is labeled *8* on the railing. This will be the staircase that takes you directly to the front door on the ground level from the parking lot above. It is a little more than halfway down the parking lot on the left!

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully stocked with new appliances, cookware, dinnerware, and utensils. You will also find a fully stocked coffee/tea bar as you will not find a Starbucks at the top of the mountain! There is a washer and dryer available in the kitchen as well.

Dining
You will find a full sized table with seating for up to 6, along with a bar top with 3 additional seats.

Living
In the living area you will find a couch, two chairs, a Smart TV, a wood burning fireplace, and a cabinet full of games. Knotty Alpine Cove is equipped with high speed WiFi for all of your work/play needs.

Bedroom 1
The master bedroom has a King sized bed, along with attached master bathroom with walk in shower. There is a fan, hangers, luggage rack, and plastic hamper available for use stored in the closet. A Smart TV sits atop a full sized dresser.

Bedroom 2
The guest bedroom has a Queen sized bed, a fan, bench, hangers, luggage rack, and plastic hamper available for use stored in the closet. A Smart TV sits atop a full sized dresser. There is a pocket door that can close the bedroom and guest bathroom off from the main living area as well, to create a second master suite.

Sleeping
While there is a King & Queen in the unit, we do also provide an air mattress for guests up to 5 max (6 if children)

Outdoor Living
There is a large deck at the rear of the condo, accessible from the Master bedroom and the main living area. There is a large grassy area beyond the deck, but please be aware that there are bears that roam the property at times. Please review the bear safety information on the fridge in the condo and online, never leave food in your car, always lock your car doors and NEVER feed the bears!

Parking
There is free parking available. Please remember to lock your car doors and NEVER leave food in your vehicle, as these bears are particularly smart and have learned how to open car doors for a snack!

You will have access to 3 pool areas during the summer season. Please abide by all pool rules. A $50 fee will be charged for lost pool passes. Pool towels not provided; please plan to bring your own if you plan on using the pool!

No Smoking inside or on rear deck of property
No Parties/Events
No Propane/Gas/Fire Grills. You may use a portable electric grill, but please dispose of any grease trap as to not attract wildlife onto the deck.
No Fireworks of any kind
Less than a mile from the newly renovated Ober Mountain where you can take the sky tram down to the Gatlinburg strip!
Paved roads lead to the Gatlinburg Bypass and downtown Gatlinburg

Although not always necessary, we do recommend travelers insurance (third party or via booking platform) and a 4x4 vehicle in the winter should there be snow as we are located on Cove Mountain. Cancellations due to weather will strictly follow our cancellation policy.
