The Space:
Enjoy your stay at this thoughtfully restored and historic 1926 Santa Fe style home in the heart of Colorado Springs. This delightful getaway is just minutes from downtown and The Olympic Training Center or a quick drive to Garden of the Gods and many other Colorado Springs tourist destinations. Our home is like a duplex; there is a separate entrance and another space upstairs that we also rent to travelers on Airbnb! BACKYARD:
Fire up the grill and grab some beers as you watch the sun set. After dinner you can head to our ring style gas fire pit. Cook some s’mores and enjoy time with your friends and family. The backyard is shared with our other Airbnb guests on the property. And while we’re biased, we think our guests are some of the best; make new friends and share your favorite activities of the day during your time at our place. New FALL of 2020: Extra large community hot tub! Relax and soak in the new hot tub after a long day of hiking.

LIVING ROOM:
Enjoy the 55” Roku Smart TV with built-in Wi-Fi so you can pick up streaming your favorite shows where you left off at home! There is also a queen-sized pull out sofa with a comfortable memory foam mattress if you need the additional sleeping space.

KITCHEN:
If you decide to have a night in, you won’t be disappointed. Cook your favorite meal in the fully loaded kitchen. We are well stocked with a wide variety of pots, pans, spices, and cooking utensils. Enjoy a family-style meal at the large 6-person dinner table ready for take out or any meal! Enjoy delicious coffee with creamer from our Keurig in the morning to start your day off right!


BEDROOM 1:
This room has a comfy full mattress with high quality bedding. There is a desk and chair for setting your luggage on or working on the computer with our free lightning-fast fiber wifi (500+ Mbps). We also provide a pack n play and a highchair for the little one.

BEDROOM 2:
This bedroom features a super comfortable queen-sized mattress with high quality bedding, and gorgeous décor.

BATHROOM:
The bathroom features a stand-up tile shower, quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Enjoy complimentary hand-soap, lotion, feminine products, and make-up removal wipes. We also have a hair dryer, first aid kit, cotton swabs, and extra toilet paper.

LAUNDRY:
The shared laundry room is located just outside the main door with an updated washer and dryer set, iron with ironing board, and fresh washing detergent. Our incredible cleaning team does use the washer and dryer during the cleans of the other unit between 10 am and 4 pm and may need to use them during your stay.

COVID19: Traveling now is more stressful than ever, and we understand. We provide a professional quality cleaning and focus on disinfection and sanitation. We can assure you that all touch points such as door knobs, light switches, and tv remotes receive extra sanitization. We firmly believe that our home is much safer than a hotel where there is frequent contact with numerous guests. Rest easy and enjoy your vacation knowing you are doing it as safely as possible. Guest Access:
You will have access to the private garden level and everything in it! Kitchen, Bedrooms, Bathroom, and Living Room. The upper level is also rented to traveling guests and you can book that as well if you have a larger group! Check out our profile page to see all of our available Airbnb listings.

The Neighborhood:
Our home is so close to many restaurants, coffee shops, and iconic Colorado Springs tourist destinations. It is just one block to the Olympic Training Center, a couple blocks to Memorial Hospital, a mile to downtown Colorado Springs, a few miles from Garden of the Gods, and a quick drive to all the great tourist destinations and sights that the Springs has to offer.

Getting Around:
Great places to eat and places to visit are right around the corner. We frequently walk to get coffee (Dutch Bros Coffee, Starbucks, and Switchback Coffee Roasters), China Village and Quijotes for some walkable food, and even walk to Walgreens for those last minute things you need. Just down the road, you have to check out our favorite Mexican food (Dos Santos Tacos and T-Byrd’s), great burger joints (Bingo Burger and The Skirted Heifer), and several amazing breweries (Phantom Canyon, Cerberus, Oskar Blues, and Bristol Brewing). For breakfast, you cannot go wrong with Denver Biscuit Co or the 100%-gluten-free menu at Coquettes Bistro and Bakery.

We recommend renting a car or using Uber and Lyft (ride sharing) to get around. There are also a couple close bus stops if public transportation is preferred.

Other Things to Note:
For a seamless check-in experience, you'll receive a unique code via message along with your check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival. You'll use this code for keyless entry.

We've also prepared a starter supply that includes paper towels, coffee K-cups, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and plush white towels! We hope these amenities add an extra touch of comfort to your stay.

No pets, no parties, and no smoking anything inside.

We are also on the corner of a high traffic street, but have plenty of free street parking on our side street and some parking in back off of the alley too!

***We frequently drain and refill our hot tub so that it is clean and sanitary for all of our guests! Our water comes from the Rocky Mountains at crazy cold temperatures in the winter - sometimes as low as 48°. Our hot tub heats at about 6° per hour which puts the hot tub heated to 102° later in the evening when it has been drained and refilled earlier in the day. You may see the temperature in the 60s or 70s when you arrive but rest assured it is heating as fast as possible and will be ready for enjoyment later in the evening.
