Cute place! If you don't mind driving to the beach/downtown, this is a great place for a small family. We stayed here in July and still had no real trouble finding parking so not being walking distance was no issue. The house has several AC window units that kept it quite comfortable. Everything was very clean and comfortable.

overall a nice property. The window air conditioning units in the bedrooms were not the greatest. One in the living room with thermostat did fine. Placement of bunk beds in 2nd bedroom sort of blocked the air flow. Shades on windows would have worked better instead of fighting with curtains blocking the air conditioner vents. Quiet neighborhood.

Great location and amenities

Perfect location (close enough to both the beach, main shops and restaurants, and the state park) and everything was just as described. Host was responsive and the home was clean and stocked with everything we needed/wanted (including board games, beach towels, and folding chairs). Would highly recommend to others, especially families with kids.

It was super cute and decorated well. Was a little hot in the rooms. Would have also appreciated a bit more toilet paper and kitchen supplies bc we had to run to the store. Overall good

Thank you for your feedback and kind words about the décor of the home. I’d like to clarify a couple of points for future guests. The house does not have central air; instead, it has three window units which keep the space comfortably cool given its smaller size. When the thermostat was adjusted, the heat function was mistakenly turned on, which may have contributed to the rooms feeling warmer. Regarding supplies, my cleaner fully stocked the home based on the number of guests indicated in the reservation. I was informed on the day of arrival that there would be an additional guest, and had we known in advance, we would have ensured extra supplies were available to accommodate everyone. I appreciate your stay and your feedback, as it helps me ensure future guests have the best experience possible.

The residence was quaint and had all the necessities for a great Michigan vacation! The house was mostly clean, but there were some things stuck on the clear tablecloth that were difficult to clean off myself. There were a few bugs, but that’s not unheard of being in a grassy location with trees. I would suggest providing a bigger cutting board for guests as well.

Perfect home base for South Haven vaca

Every summer I take my three boys on a guys only vacation and this year was our first time in South Haven. This property was a great home base for our daily activities. We were able to drive 2 min to stock up on groceries for breakfast, and after a lazy morning we would drive 2 min to hit the beach, town, and arcade. Terri was an excellent host and very responsive to any questions. The next time we visit South Haven we will definitely stay here again!
