2 miles directly off Shunpike Rd is Lake Ninevah Rd to lake Ninevah!! Anglers lucky enough to discover Lake Ninevah enjoy fishing for smallmouth bass, sunfish, rock bass, pickerel, perch, pike, largemouth bass and rainbow trout. The lake is small enough to navigate with oars or paddle but large enough to offer a variety of habitat for different species of fish.
Wildlife sometimes observed in the area includes eastern coyote, whitetail deer, black bear, raccoon, mink, and beaver. Along with resident breeding loons and several kinds of ducks, a variety of songbirds, water birds and raptors share the shoreline. The private roads around the lake offer plenty of leisurely walks with binoculars or camera and are great for mountain biking. Ninevah Road is itself highly recommended as a scenic bicycling tour. The Lake Ninevah Fen at the south end of the lake is one of the largest peat bogs in Vermont. Several different types of wetland habitat are present here, and support everything from rare pitcher plants to excellent lowland bear habitat

Daughters birthday
We stayed for my daughter’s birthday with short notice but James was amazing at making us feel so comfortable and making it so easy for the girls to have a great time. It was amazing. We will definitely stay again.

Cozy family house in Vermont with lots to do
This is the second time we stayed at this property to celebrate my son's birthday and it didn't disappoint. Communication with the host/property manager was great as usual, the house was clean and cozy as I remember it from last time. We had a great time and if you're looking for a place to stay in Vermont, I would definitely recommend this place. It's a large space, well-heated, and has a lot of amenities like board games, a sauna, and a ping pong table to spend time with guests. The only thing I can recommend to the host as a cheap/easy addition is to consider adding a high chair and a pack-&-play to make life easier for parents with little kids. Other than that, this place is perfect and has pretty much everything you might possibly need.

Cozy get away
Spacious property with enough beds and space for everyone! Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the amenities like game room in the basement or the fire pit outside as we were in VT for a wedding and there was no time! My only issue is that some windows were hard to open and there were no screens! It was a little stuffy when we first got in! Overall still a good place!
