Charming, private waterfront getaway centrally located between Irvington and Kilmarnock, and nearby Tides Inn, Golden Eagle Golf Course, and the new Compass Entertainment Complex. KAYAK FLOATING DOCK and 3 KAYAKS for guests' use. Features huge, screened porch overlooking Taylor Creek with cushioned Adirondack seating and dining table for 6. Sundeck/gas grill off screened porch. Outdoor seating and railed deck on point for serene sunset views. Open and airy floor plan features great room with flat screen TV, dining table for 6-8, island kitchen with barstools, and 1st floor half bath. First floor master with king bed/ full bath. 2 large bedrooms up (1 Queen; 2 twin beds), each with private bath. Living areas and all bedrooms have water view. 2nd fl. TV loft. NO PETS/NO SMOKING. 15% discount for 7-13 night stay / 20% discount for 14 or more nights.

Great house and location in impeccable condition. We planned a long holiday weekend getaway and truly enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal for exploring all that the Northern Neck has to offer. The kitchen is well appointed —as is the entire house—comfortable living areas, and opportunities for recreation on Taylor Creek ( kayaks are available). Looking forward to returning soon! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely week. The house was clean and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed spending time on the screened porch watching the birds and deer. We would definitely stay again.

We've been very thankful for this house over the years while visiting my grandmother. My parents are older, so the first floor bedroom and large bath is perfect. Also appreciate the two bathrooms upstairs. And it's in a great location to easily get around the area. Highly recommend.

Our second time here and just as great- the porch and view of the water is relaxing and perfect. We love watching the hummingbirds and eastern bluebirds as well as red shouldered hawks and blue grossbeaks. The kitchen is great to make tasty meals. Also enjoyed the dock area views! There is a little construction going on the other side of the creek- it doesn’t impact the view although was noisy on a day or two. Did not stop us from enjoying the cottage and the Weems/Irvington area.

Our group of 4 was very comfortable here. We spent our mornings and evenings in the screened-in porch, watching the wildlife and admiring the view of the creek below the house. We thoroughly enjoyed the ease of having the kayak launch from the dock. The house was lovely. We might just make this an annual trip!
