Fun stay with friends

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We had 7 kids in our group and all had a wonderful time. Proximity to the beach was perfect and the house was a nice size for our group!

Wonderful house for a large gathering

Lots of space and comfort. Plenty of kitchen supplies. Beach towels provided. Wonderful views and so close to beach is great! Nice that shampoo/ conditioner/ soap is provided. Only a starter supply if paper towels, garbage bags, toilet paper is provided so plan accordingly if your staying more than a few nights with a large crowd. We will definitely stay again.

Family beach getaway

This house was great for our large extended family--fourteen people (the youngest is nine and the oldest are in their seventies) plus a little dog. There was plenty of room and everyone was comfortable. The location was great and beach access was very convenient. Highlights: plenty of pillows and blankets, lots of beach towels, easy parking, smooth check-in/check-out, great views, tons of seating for a large group.

This is a beautiful property! Balconies are great - watched dolphins play one day! Great location. Close to shopping & restaurants. Steps from your private beach! It's quiet & so relaxing...we definitely plan to return!

House was great but lots of steps. As we were celebrating 2 80th birthdays, carrying all the stuff up and down the steps was difficult for us. I knew steps would be involved but seemed more than on photos. Once up it was great! Thanks!

Enjoyed and wanted to stay longer

Loved the views and open floor mat and bedroom layout. Had some real squeaky beds and a bad moldy smell and bedrooms were tight because of bulky furniture. But we did love the balconies and all the seating and parking availability. Having the private beach was so nice but watch out for all the jelly fish!

Great ocean front home for a family with pets!

This house is bright and airy with wonderful ocean views from inside the home, as well as from both decks. There was more than enough room for our family of 11 and our two dogs. Not everything in the house is new or in perfect condition, but it was clean and functional. The beach is away from the crowds but not far from anything we wanted to see or do. We all enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again!

The location could not be better and accommodations were lovely. We had an issue with water heater and microwave on Christmas Eve. However, there was a service team at the property within an hour or so of my phone call with a new microwave and a solution to the water heater. surprisingly excellent service. We would stay again.

No smoke alarms

The main issue we had was the elevator was not available for use, it was locked. Every single smoke alarm in the entire was detached, we found them in a cabinet. None of the outdoor outlets worked. The rooms were so full of furniture it was difficult to walk or find a spot for suitcases. The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. There were 9 of us that stayed and we had enough beds, and couch space to hang out. It was right on a private beach which was perfect.

My wife and I took our (4) grown kids and my Parents (80 years old) to hang at the beach for the week of 8/22. The house was very beautiful, spacious, and clean upon arrival. The beach views from the balconies were amazing. The house was equipped with everything we needed for the week. The water pressure was great and the water heater was good. The AC was cold and worked great. The rooms were spacious and the beds were, well, they were as comfortable as can be expected. Before I rented the home, I read the reviews and of course there are good reviews to bad reviews. One review in particular spoke about the stairs, I thought they were complaining about the initial set of stairs being that the house is on stilts. However, the kitchen and living room were on the top floor of the house, so it was very difficult for my parents to traverse the stairs multiple times a day. There is an elevator, but it was not working (I did not call and ask about it). Overall, we had a wonderful stay making memories that will last a lifetime.

great house!

Loved the location! Very clean and lots of room for our big family. Our only issue is that the kitchen was small and needs organizing - it was chaos trying to cook for a big group in a small, unorganized space. Other than that, we loved it!

Decent stay, but won’t book again

Had to call for check in because the code wasn’t working. The living room TV and 2 of the bedroom TVs didn’t work. No vacuum cleaner available which is needed at a beach house with all the sand! A/C downstairs on first floor with most of the bedrooms not working properly. Elevator alarm went off at 745 am waking up all the children. Wasn’t a horrible stay, but would not book again!

This property has the potential to be a wonderful vacation spot. However, the lack of maintenance and attention to detail made our stay much more difficult than it needed to be. To start off, the 1st floor, where all but 2 bedrooms are located, was hot with very little air movement. When we asked about it, the company advised us “the first floor does not have ac.” When looking at the ac unit, we discovered it is rusted over. All other homes in the neighborhood have brand new, clean units. One of the queen bedrooms ceiling fan did not work (chain would not pull, almost like it was rusted close) as well as the ceiling fan in the living area. When we arrived there were crumbs all over the kitchen floor and stove. The coffee pot had not been emptied and the cabinets were completely unorganized. We had to rearrange to make room for our groceries. In the room with the bunk beds, there were dried contacts on the nightstand and the previous renters underwear on the floor. Almost as if no one even cleaned up or checked the room. Downstairs toilet does not refill on its own. The king bed is hard as a rock and was impossible to sleep well on. The dishwasher won’t start without an app we had to download. Our stay was good because we made the best of it, but for what we paid, it should have been great. If you are looking to stay on Sunny Beach, choose one of the better maintained properties with owners who pay more attention to detail. This one is disappointing.

Issue with lock on door had to be resolved multiple times as we had to wait for help on phone. Outside shower ran constantly and when they tried to fix it, they turned off entire house water supply. Overall not a great experience unfortunately.

Beautiful beach house

5/5 for the house, very clean, plenty of towels, right on the beach. 4/5 for the water. It was lukewarm for the majority of the stay. Informed the people in charge through VRBO. Each time someone different responded. Nothing was done with the water. Last night took an icy cold shower. Other than that our stay was very nice.

Beautiful beach house

Wry nice, spacious, and clean beach house! Lots of stairs, so be ready for your workout, but worth it when you get up to that view from the living room. Could not get in with the code I was sent, but the host was quick to fix the problem. Definitely recommend this property.

Beach House Problems

The house was fine for a beach front property. There’s an elevator, but it’s not for guest use, which would have been fine if it had 1) been disclosed as part of the listing and 2) didn’t have a detailed how-to guide hanging on the elevator. That led to confusion on its use. It’s waterfront, so the mildew / mold and rust was plentiful in the house, and the first floor bathroom really needs a deep cleaning and new shower curtains / rods. There was mildew all over it and the rod was rusty, thus transferring onto hands / towels. The property is obviously owned by a corporation and not individuals, as little things were sub-par. Like the second floor shower door not fitting the shower opening. It was a 2” narrower than the opening. The microwave / vent over the stove doesn’t work. The toaster only toasts on one side. There is mold/ mildew coming out of the air vents overhead. And the dishwasher is on the Fritz. Luckily, one of the people with me have a Bosch and after resetting several times, finally got it to run a successful cycle. I personally couldn’t get it to work. There wasn’t enough garbage bags or toilet paper for 9 people over 4 days, so we bought our own with our groceries. So-Fi was great. Didn’t use the TV. Beach view and access was lovely. Really, the property just needs a little TLC that an owner would give, not a company.

Great but 1 thing

Awesome location. Great house for fam to enjoy vacay at beach. Direct beach access. No vehicle traffic allowed on beach made for a nice environment. Only caveat is downstairs bathroom tile is very slippery when wet. I would think owner may want change this for liability purposes.
