We loved our stay and highly recommend it for skiers and boarders due to the proximity to the slopes. The hosts were also prompt communicators, which was appreciated.
Property was great! Right across the street from PowderRidge lift. Owners had a binder with all relevant info in regards to the mountain that was very useful. Chris was easy to work with; Highly recommend
Great studio condo for my partner and I. Early season so the slopes within walking distance weren't open but was easy to drive over. Plenty of firewood in the shed for the fireplace.
The condo was very clean, and comfortable. Loved the fireplace and logs left to make the fire. The decor was nice and you can tell the owners take pride in their property. The hosts were amazing and provided us with all the information we needed to have a great stay.
They also had a folder that gave us information for important numbers, ATM locations etc.
Great place and great hosts.
This studio style condo was AMAZING! It easily sleeps 4, and has a kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans, cooking utensils, and anything else you would need. The hosts generously left plenty of laundry and dishwasher pods, and the dryer was very nice for drying out ski equipment. They also left plenty of towels for 4 people, and extra shampoo, conditioner and soap. The walk to the slopes was very short and convenient (only a few minutes) and parking was easy and convenient. It also has an adorable fireplace and a nice TV. I would highly recommend this property!
We had a wonderful time. Everything was exactly as described and pictured in the listing. Comfortable bed, beautifully decorated, plenty of towels, pillows, cozy blankets for chilly mountain mornings. Great WiFi connection! Our host was very helpful in suggesting things to do in the area.
One suggestion to anyone who decides to stay here or anywhere on the mountain… If you don’t plan on eating at one of the mini fine restaurants, make sure you bring enough supplies, it’s a very long way down the mountain to the nearest grocery store. There is a grocery store at snowshoe, but I found it to be a wee bit expensive.
We arrived to a clean and well prepped space, there were extras of everything and they left us dishwasher tabs and laundry pods to use. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was stocked with anything you might need to cook during your stay. Chris and Kate were wonderful hosts and happily answer any questions you might have. The fireplace was wonderful and there is all kinds of wildlife off the back porch. It’s a 5 minute walk to the shuttle stop (maybe longer with all your ski stuff) so it’s best to have one person call for the shuttle while others walk down to the stop to make sure you don’t miss it like we did a couple times. Overall we had a great stay and a wonderful time at Ridgewood!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
We liked the cleanliness, toiletries, furnishings, comfortable bed, & communication. I brought my own firewood cause I asked & owner said they do not provide it till ski season.
I wish I had asked about bringing coffee.
I was also looking for the big white clock tower that was main picture in listing. I couldn't find it when I drove to the address & drove around the other drives off that street. 20 minutes later I had to get out an walk up & down stairs & multiple units to find it. My friend owns a unit there and wish I had known.
I'd go back again but I'll ask more questions.
The check in process and communication prior to the stay was quick and easy. We loved the fully stocked anteroom with boot trays, extra towels, hangers, wall hooks for skis and clothing, and shelving to put all of our muddy soaked gear after a rainy few days on the slopes. The room has a small heater in it so our stuff was dry in a few hours. The walk to the slopes isn’t too far, and there’s a shuttle stop nearby if you want to go into the village or silver creek. The kitchen equipment is nicer than most with actually sharp knives that you can chop with and a variety of other handy utensils. Enough pans to suit any need. There’s a coffee pot and tea kettle but no coffee/tea so bring your own. Salt/pepper/oil are provided. The bed was comfy and clean. There are a few board games and the nostalgic selection of DVDs was enjoyable to look through. As an added bonus, there’s a family of deer that visit the back of unit every day so you can animal watch.
We really enjoyed our first stay at Snowshoe! This studio was perfect for the three of us. The decor was great and the place was very clean. We loved the small entrance to leave everything instead of skis and boots being in the way. There was also a small heater for us to plug in and dry our gear out quicker. We didn’t eat any big meals in the place but the kitchen had everything we needed. The studio was big enough for us to relax before bed, as you don’t really spend much time in the place. We also liked the remoteness. The village is where “it” happens, but it was quiet and peaceful in Ridgewood. We got to experience the deer literally coming right up to us to be hand fed! The shuttle system is excellent! Just make a phone call and they arrive quickly. They will take you pretty much anywhere or at least anywhere to grab the bus system to go where you want to go.Chris and Kate were very quick to answer any of our questions. They made it very easy to communicate as the app isn’t always quick to send and receive messages. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about our trip or our stay at their place. I highly recommend staying at their place and we will definitely be coming back in the future.
Perfect condo for a skier ⛷️ or a couple. Five steps down, turn right, and you’re at the front door. Has everything you’ll need. How if you’re staying for more than a couple of nights, bring dishwasher and laundry detergent, coffee filters. I super appreciate the starter set that was there on my arrival.
The condo is located above the Powderidge lift on the far right of the trail map and is served by the tram.
Plenty of hot water, but I suspect the hot and cold are reversed in the shower.
I enjoyed watching the World Cup on the large TV.
