Adorable and comfortable

We loved our stay here! Not only was the cabin in a perfect location, very comfortable and cute but there were also "extras" that we enjoyed. Simple things such as labeling the the switches (I wish more owners would do this) to thoughtful gifts that were provided. We were very impressed and look forward to staying again in the future!

Location is perfect!

Can not beat this cabin for location to RMNP and downtown Estes Park! Comfy bed and well appointed. We observed Elk and deer in the yard daily. Host were great! Just a note, if you are elderly the tub height could be a little difficult getting in and out. Overall great place to stay!

Great!

My partner and I usually over prepare and bring things we think the property might not have, especially when it comes to cooking, but we had everything we needed! My partner also loved how everything was labeled.

Cozy and Comfortable

It’s a cute cottage with well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and furniture, outdoor seating front and back. Wildlife frequent the area. We saw elk and deer from the cabin. The only negative we found was the proximity of the cabin to the Park highway which was busy from before sunup to sundown. It wasn’t noisy inside the house but outdoors traffic was quite noisy.

Host profile image
Karen and Scott are long time residents of Estes Park. We have two great dogs and love exploring Estes Park, the national park, and surrounding areas.

Why they chose this property

Rocky Retreat EP is located steps away from Rocky Mountain National Park. From the cabin, you can hike directly into the National Park without having to drive in. If you chose to drive to the Beaver Meadows entrance station it is only 5 minutes away. The retreat is located in a historic area of Estes Park where other houses and cabins are not crowding each other. The kitchen is fully equipped if you choose to cook at home.
