We had a fabulous time. The cove on the lake was so quiet and beautiful. We love bird watching and saw so many wonderful species on and off the water. The cabin is charming and the host incredibly lovely! Would recommend to anyone!
Vince and Sandra were great hosts always available to answer any questions. Check in and out was easy. Great location within an hour of the coast. Great cabin on a quiet lake. Recommend for anyone who wants an escape to a beautiful lake.
Loon Lodge is beautifully set on Unity Pond. Very quite, peaceful location. Vincent, the owner is a very kind gentleman who gifted us some of his homemade maple syrup and some of the best apples I’ve ever had. Thank you! Any questions were answered promptly and we had no issues during our stay. Had a great time and will definitely be back to the area as often as possible. Thank you for the hospitality!
We had a fantastic time at this property! The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed, even coffee. Vince gave us a tour and let us know everything we needed to know when we arrived. The kayaking was amazing. We got so close to bald eagles it was breathtaking, we were simply awed. We saw eagles, osprey, herons and so much wildlife. Vince and Sandy were absolutely wonderful hosts, so friendly, accessible and helpful. They even took us out on the boat one evening for a tour of the lake and gave us some of their homemade maple syrup! We would certainly come back.

Rebuilt in 2009, is great lake side cabin, with glass front and large deck , right on the lake . Great place to get away , and see Maine. We are mentally located.
Sandra and Vince are the most welcoming, perfect hosts anyone could ask for. They even brought us fresh baked bread and homemade maple syrup and fresh spring water. The cottage is adorable and had everything we needed and then some! I especially enjoyed laying in the hammock under a tree and watching the ducks and hummingbirds. Vince even supplied the wood for the fire pit. It was so sad to leave as Vince and Sandra have become friends. They were never intrusive, but available to chill with many times over the course of almost 2 weeks. We miss them and the cottage already 😩
