Large 1155 sq ft 2 Bedroom and 2 full Bath Modern Cabin nestled in ancient oaks and only a few short minutes to the wine shuttle and downtown Fredericksburg. You will enjoy the peaceful Texas Hill Country as it should be enjoyed. Cabin #2 of 3 homes spread across 17 acres allows privacy or your large group to spread out if you book all units. Enjoy the quiet of the Texas Hill Country with beautiful Texas star filled nights. Quiet morning walks around the large property with deer, antelope, wild turkeys, rabbit, and other wildlife or visit our own goats, and miniature donkeys. All of this with high-speed internet (though we encourage you to unplug and enjoy our Texas Hill Country). The kitchen is equipped with Keurig coffee maker, stovetop, pots, pans, dishes glasses and utensils. The cabin has a King and Queen private bedrooms with high thread count 100% organic cotton sheets and their own ensuite large baths with dual sink vanity, separate tub and showers. The cabin has a washer/dryer and comes with coffee, soap, shampoo and other amenities. Close to everything! Nearby you will find:

Great weekend getaway house!

Perfect for a weekend trip with a couple of friends or small family! The host was very accommodating on check in/out times if needed. Close enough to Main Street but still the perfect distance into the country.

Country Visit.

This cabin was immaculate. 2 large bedrooms and large bathrooms with a nice patio out back. We loved seeing the animals. I loved how private and secure the place was. The host gave us so many wonderful recommendations and was very attentive to our needs. They privided coffee, shampoo, conditioner and other amenities. I would definitely stay here again. Also, a great location!

Great location!

Feels like you’re out in the country, with wildlife out the backdoor, but it’s a short drive to town and wineries. Spencer was very responsive and offered several great restaurant recommendations…we had an amazing dinner at Cabernet Grill! The house was very clean, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. Bonus: you can visit the pig, donkeys and goats on the property! :)

Nice rural location

The property was really nice and remote, as long as you don’t want to be near town. Classic hill country landscape with cedar and mesquite trees and native grasses. Deer and antelope run wild and the owner has donkeys, goats and a pig in a fenced in area. About 11 minutes from town.

Amazing Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was nice and clean. The host responded to any questions I had quickly which was very helpful. The kids loved getting to play with the animals located on the property. Even though there is more than one unit on the property the way they were spread out made it feel like we were the only ones there. The entrance was also gated, which I appreciated(not that it was needed) because it made me feel better having 3 kids there by myself. The property itself was beautiful and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

Missy's little cabin

We loved our stay at the cabin! So nice to be out of town and in the peace and quiet! Our stay include 2 couples and the bedroom/bathroom situation was perfect for that. It is only a short 5-10 minute drive into Fredericksburg. We spent an afternoon in Luckenbach listening to music as well as visiting as many wineries as possible in 2 days. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening after a long day of shopping and drinking wine. Our favorite thing was all the goats and donkeys on the property, especially the little porch goat "Missy". She welcomed us there and waved good bye when we left. This is a special place!

We have a maintained a perfect 5 star across multiple platforms. Our cleaning person had locked herself out and not finished folding the sheets or towels. We did not know until the renter arrived. For their inconvenience, we gave them a bottle wine and refunded the cleaning fee which was an overly generous gesture. We also delivered the wine, additional trash sacks a new kitchen sponge and removed the garbage within 30 minutes of the call. We then discovered that they had 8 people staying there in violation of the max 4 people. They had used all the trash bags which were filled with beer cans and bottles, we pulled 4 large bags of trash from a two night stay. We responded to every communication immediately and there was no mention of toilet paper or other issues. There is nothing on the patio but a table, chairs, and the grill so saying it “was a mess” is blatantly not true. The grill was pulled over to the back door by the renter and evidently the door was left open while grilling because it took 2 weeks to air out the cabin out afterward. In addition the renter must have dropped a tray/plate of food because there was food on the ceiling in 3 places. This is disappointing to receive a bad review after bending over backward for them and the condition that that they left the cabin in. In retrospect, I would have given this guest 1 star across the board. HOSTS BEWARE OF THIS RENTER UPDATE: Guest was assigned an additional charge for damage to the cabin which they refused to pay.

Quaint little cottage in the country

Its as cute as it looks! Clean and comfy. Close to fredricksburg but so nice and private on a gated 17 acres. The king bed was amazing but the queen too soft for our liking. The critters are cute. Our only complaints? For such a wonderful location it was a bit noisy from the road. But we’re from Alaska - so maybe its just us. The other complaint? The charcoal grill is clean but really old and missing the side making it hard to regulate. Minor complaints that didnt have any impact on our stay.. Host was quite responsive.

Great stay

We had a great time. The house was just right. Clean and in a good location. I would suggest a new mattress for the queen size bed. It's very tall and as a short person, I could not get on it.
