The home looks just like the photos from the outside and has a nice overall appearance. However, once we settled in, we noticed several maintenance and cleanliness issues that should be addressed. There was no outdoor furniture, so the backyard wasn’t usable for relaxing. The washer and dryer were very old and rusted. The mop head was dirty, several cooking dishes hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the kitchen sponge smelled spoiled. The refrigerator also made a very loud noise throughout our stay, as if it might be malfunctioning. The home sits on a corner lot along a busy main street, so traffic noise is noticeable, especially in the mornings. We also heard a rooster every morning, which was actually kind of charming at first.Inside the home, there was a hole behind the door in the first bedroom upstairs on the left. The hallway bathroom had a stained shower curtain, and the primary bathroom shower and tub could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The beds were acceptable but not especially comfortable.Communication was the biggest disappointment. We messaged the host during our stay but never received a response. We couldn’t locate any bath towels, and after asking the host without getting a reply, we had to purchase our own. It also would have been helpful to know there isn’t a garage keypad—you have to enter through the front door first to open the garage from inside.Overall, the house has a lot of potential and is attractive, but it would benefit from better clean
