We traveled to Pasadena for a family wedding where the actual wedding was held on one afternoon and the reception was held the following evening. I had expected to fill the down time at a local museum or maybe even the race track. However, once we entered the house, I knew I would be spending my time exploring this historical abode and all it had to offer. I was completely entertained every moment we were there. The architecture of the home itself is so interesting. Art work captures one’s attention at every turn. The book collection was intriguing as well. When I needed to take a break, I rested at the grand piano in the lovely living room, enjoyed the mild weather in a rocker on the marvelous front porch or strolled around the grounds with my Golden Doodle, who was thrilled to be able to roam freely and even chase the occasional squirrel (the dog - not me).Martha, our host, was quick to respond to my questions when booking the house and sent welcoming messages on our arrival. It was lovely finding some snacks awaiting us after our long drive and we were greeted by fresh flowers and orchids throughout the house. We all found the sleeping arrangements to be very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. I was so happy with our stay and would highly recommend this home. I hope I have reason to travel back to Pasadena for another visit.

Wonderful Rose Parade Stay

We had an exceptional experience in this house. Martha is an amazing host. She was flexible with our arrival time and prepared the house to be warm and inviting. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming Historic Pasadena Home

Centrally located early 1900s home near bustling Pasadena. Nice welcoming touches on arrival - fresh flowers and snacks! Host kindly put out personal Thanksgiving dishes for us to host our dinner with family. Some parts of the home are a work in progress as updates get made to a fine historic home & property.
