Property was reasonably clean and maintained. When we needed help with a toilet back-up, the management company got back to us right away and showed up first thing in the morning as requested. Very polite and helpful.

visit to the falls

very convenient location. Sharing 2 houses made it very easy to have a quieter place for the adults when the kids wanted to play noisy games. Also, helped to separate early risers from those who like to sleep in.

These houses were pretty much as pictured. Very grateful that the 3rd floor bedroom had an air conditioner unit for itself. There are two nice decks that are fairly close to each other. Makes have conversations on both decks very nice. Showers we hot. Bathrooms were all pretty spacious. The communication between the company and us was very good. The front door locks, lock all by themselves after a certain amount of time. Make sure you have the code on you at all times or memorize it. The house in the back could use a air conditioner upstairs as the rooms don't cool down easily. It was an exceptionally hot week that we were their though. It was on the upper 90°s. An umbrella on the decks would not go unappreciated also. The driveway was fairly nice. There is a nice green space in the lot next door. I am not sure who it belongs to. The houses are very close to Niagara and a grocery store. Both within walking distance. The beds were decently comfortable and the house is very quiet. Sleeping in was not difficult. The neighborhood was fairly quiet. I would stay again.

Underwhelming

We chose this rental for the price and location. 2 homes. 5 families. Check in is 3:00. 1 house was still being cleaned at check in. They weren’t done cleaning until 4:30. Outlets in house 1 didn’t work. Stains on sheets. No window coverings in bathrooms with clear windows to see right through. Communication with renter is terrible. I messaged about the issue at check in and kept getting auto responses. A person finally messaged back and offered a “small refund”. I agreed. Never heard from anyone again. I even stated “resolve before I submit a review.” Crickets. Rent at your own risk.

Minor Additions/Fixes Recommended

Our group of 7 women used both houses for a 5 night stay, which met our needs. The neighborhood is depressed, but we never felt unsafe. There was room for 4 vehicles in the driveway, plus on street parking. Some additions and fixes would make these houses more comfortable. Both houses were extremely musty and would benefit from dehumidifiers. (I emailed about this issue, and that email went unanswered.) As they are several stories tall, it was difficult to get the bedrooms cool upstairs while making the first floor very cold. The front house had ceiling fans which make a lot of squeaky noise, and the back house lacked fans altogether. None of the bedrooms had bedside lamps, just overhead lights. The front house shower had mold, and the upstairs shower in the back house has a broken drain. None of the bathrooms have towel racks and no hand towels were provided. Only 1 kitchen dish towel was provided, which was inadequate. The kitchen cutlery in the back house needs replenishing: there was only 1 fork and the spoons provided are the size used for infants. A corkscrew and more than one wine glass would be welcome additions. One love seat lounger is broken (but functional). The dining room chairs are rickety and are unsafe. We generated a lot of recyclables, so would have appreciated some guidance on disposal, and a recycle bin with the trash bins. These minor additions/fixes would have elevated our experience.
