Total Solar Eclipse Experience!!!

We had the perfect spot grow which to view the Total Solar Eclipse in April 8, 2024! We sat on the back deck with the small waves “clucking” by our feet while watching the amazing show put on by Nature herself!! The playground was five minutes walk away which was great for our 5-year-old and the kayak in the garage was a treat for our 10-year-old! The beds had great mattresses, the heating and AC worked well! The showers had decent pressure! We just could not have asked for a better place to spend our Eclipse days! Thank you to Mitch, the owner, for affording us this experience!

4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, great waterfront location

We have rented on Indian Lake for years. One or two weeks each summer. This is first time on Orchard Island. Really enjoyed being on the east side of Orchard Island near the park. Well laid out. Kayaks were a treat. Portable gas grill and byo firewood for fire ring. The deck has a roof that opens. Ample seating in and out. Slip for boat is 8-foot wide. Caught an 18" blue catfish and 8" large mouth bass off pier. Very good value. Weeds are generally gone. Saw bald eagle and osprey.

Great Place! Right on the lake!

We went in August 2023 and had a wonderful time! The place is just as described. The living area is larger than I expected, which was nice. Very comfortable furniture with everything being updated and looks new. The 4 bedrooms were perfect for our family, especially the bunks in one of the rooms. There are no tv’s in the bedrooms, which is something we really missed. The outside deck area was plenty roomy for our family of 8. It was cool enough to have a fire in the evening. We rented a pontoon boat for a couple of days which we docked right at our place. The view is beautiful. There is a park within walking distance so we used that several times. Check in and out was super simple. The owners are easy to work with and have thought of everything their guests would need for a wonderful vacation. This was our first trip to Indian Lake and we will definitely be back. We hope to be able to stay here again. Thank you!

Julie and I have 4 kids ranging for 3-18 years old. Julie is and HR Executive and I'm a High School Athletic Director. We love the lake and stay on at the house when not rented. My grandparents had a place on the lake when I was young, some of my fondest childhood memories took place at Fox Island Park and on the water.

We are new to renting (started in 2022) and look forward to learning along the way as you and your guest make some memories at the lake!
