Visit to daughter at UNC

What a cute and well put together home! We enjoyed how the originality of the home showed through with well appointed decor. It was cozy and had everything we needed plus more. It was great to have access to a BBQ and patio! The beds were very comfortable as well.

Nice little cozy place to stay

Cozy little place for my family and I to stay in while in North Carolina. We traveled from Kentucky to watch the Tarheels play basketball. Clean place easy to communicate with.

Accurate listing. Kitchen well-equipped for cooking. Lots of space. Quiet neighbourhood. The larger beds are comfortable. All in all a good experience. We have booked to return.

Great stay!

We enjoyed staying at this cozy house for a week-long visit with our daughter in Durham. The floor plan is nice, the neighborhood is quiet, and the beds are comfortable. We would stay here again.

A Perfect Location for our Friends' Weekend.

The location was perfect for attending an events at Duke University and in downtown Durham. It also provided a nice quiet neighborhood for our morning walks. The hosts were very responsive to our few questions.

Excellent stay in a central location!

Fantastic home centrally located to everything we wanted to see. We had an unforeseen tree branch knock out the power but we had excellent communication with the owner who always let us know what was going on. Despite the disappointing football game from the Tar Heels, this VRBO helped make trip great.

Cute & Comfortable

Wonderful home with nice and cozy touches

The home is centrally located between Chapel Hill and Durham which made it convenient to visit colleges. Each space was nicely decorated and made us feel at home. Check in was perfect and had no issues at all during our stay. My only observation was the remote for the Furestick in main room wasn’t workinh but we just used our app on iphone. Great stay and would saty again

Home base in Raleigh/Durham

We had a great week visiting friends and family in the Raleigh/Durham area! The location was central and convenient. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful, and they went out of their way to set up a travel crib for our toddler which was a huge help since we had a late night arrival. The house was spacious and well appointed, with thorough information and instructions for guests. Highly recommend Hollyhock House for anyone traveling to this area!

Perfect for a quick stop!

Everything was clean, it was in a quiet neighborhood and was close to parks for the kids. Krista goes above and beyond in providing things you might need (i.e. the kitchen has all the basics, the bathrooms had little extras) and the neighbors were friendly. During our stay we also enjoyed exploring the Durham farmers market - definitely worth a stop!

Great Location

Quiet, convenient neighborhood location. The house was comfortable, the kitchen was perfect for cooking meals, and the dining room was a great spot for playing games with our family. We enjoyed the electric fireplace and the lighted Christmas tree! The house worked well for people like me with fragrance sensitivities. Definitely a place to come back to.

Cozy and quaint

Krista was very good with communication even when we lost power from rain storm. She had back up flashlight on site which cane handy. Lots of supplies (towels, soaps, detergent and dishes). Since surrounded by lots of trees and greenery, we had daily visits from critters in the kitchen despite keeping food sealed away. Not sure there is a remedy for that due to location surroundings but overall good stay.

Perfectly placed

Our niece had recently taken a job in Durham, NC. Her parents and my wife and I wanted to take a quick trip up to check on her. This VRBO was perfect in every way. Spacious, clean and well appointed. Reaching Krista was super easy as she even returned a call while she was on an airplane! Our trip was cut short due to work but we will rent this great spot again for our next visit!

Chapel Hill / Durham Family Celebration

Our family of five adults really enjoyed our four night stay in Krista's townhome. It was exactly as listed, with a well-stocked kitchen, non-toxic cleaning supplies, super comfortable beds and a sweetly welcoming vibe. As any homeowner knows, the unexpected happens and Krista ensured that a small glitch was quickly resolved and remained minor. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet and teams with songbirds. It's close to wonderful shopping and restaurants and because it's central to the tri-city area, everything is within a 20 minute drive. The next time we visit extended family in Durham, we'll definitely contact Krista for lodging.
