Great get-away

This is a special sweet place overlooking the bay. The house has everything one needs and wants and it is beautifully appointed. It was the best VRBO we've ever rented.

Perfect house for a family beach vacation

We stayed three nights over 4th of July and it was wonderful. House is clean and comfortable, the yard is great for kids, and the beach is right in front. Beds were great, A/C nice and cool, and kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc. Host checked in regularly to make sure we were doing well and we really appreciated the small personal touches that made the trip special. Plan to stay there again and would definitely recommend.

Feels like home! Decorated with a warm touch and the owner's description is very accurate. Patio is a few feet from water during high tide. Amazing sunsets and views of two mountain ranges.Perfect for a family of four and has a beautiful and well-stocked kitchen.We were sad to leave.

Relaxing Beach Retreat

This charming property was decorated perfectly for the beach. When we walked in the view was breathtaking and the view from the upstairs bedroom was even better All the amenities we needed were there. This location was perfect for us to explore the local state park, taking a ferry ride out to Lopez Island, and visiting Bellingham. We enjoyed some fantastic local restaurants as well. The sunsets were amazing and unique each night. We highly recommend this property.

Amazing beach home…

This home was amazing. We enjoyed our stay so much. The pictures don’t do the outside patio on the beach justice. So cute and cozy inside. Waking up in the morning with the view of the water was wonderful. The sunsets from the patio and living room were amazing. The house has all you need. The hosts are great and so helpful. I travel a lot to the island and this place will be our top rental in the future.

Magical Beachfront Cottage

This was one of those places that was better than the pictures could represent. The hosts were amazing and there were so many personal touches that made you feel so welcome. The beds were comfortable. Carport for parking that may be a bit tricky for a vehicle larger than midsize suv. Separate game room that we didn’t end up using but was really cool also. Definitely would stay here again!

Home away from home

We simply felt so very welcomed. It felt like staying at a friends home. The house is cozy and very well equipped and decorated with so much love for detail. We loved sitting on the deck by the water and loved the views overlooking the bay. We can’t thank Diane and Mike enough for letting us have our Mom and Dad over to sit on the deck with us and enjoy the peacefulness of madrona beach. Also we thank Tom for taking care of us with so much kindness. We will be back whenever we have the chance. Melany & Hubert

Awesome Cozy Oceanfront Cottage

This is one awesome cozy oceanfront cottage with great sunset views. Tom and Debbi have an eye for detail and comfort. The cottage is well appointed with quality furnishings, appliances, kitchen ware and so on. Throw in one of the most helpful guest books I’ve encountered plus a bottle of wine and a bag of Black Swan Breakfast Roast Coffee and yeah, these guys know how to make you feel cared for. The only reason for only 4 stars was a parking issue we had. And I’ll preface that by saying no one else appears to have had a similar experience, so perhaps it’s just us. There’s a bit of a dip on the far right side of the entryway to the carport. My low to the ground car found that dip when we first arrived. The front right bumper bottomed out, scratching the lower part of that bumper and underneath it. We figured out how to avoid the dip and for the most part did better. I did talk to Debbi who promised to check it out. And to end on a positive note, Tom and Debbi were very responsive to requests. Despite the parking challenge we would very highly recommend this place.

Beautiful home! The views were spectacular and we saw a whale go right by the house! A lot of attention to detail (I.e. chargers in combiner places, stocked kitchen, easy self check-in, great communication). Highly recommend this stay!

Such a beautiful property! My husband and I stayed at the Camano Beach House with our ten-month-old for the weekend while in town for a wedding. The view from the living room and upstairs bedroom is seriously unmatched, we all loved watching the water and the sunset. So much time and thought has clearly been put into the property, with everything clearly labeled and easy to access. Tom was extremely communicative and made the trip seamless. I hope to return when our baby is older as it would be so fun to explore the beach more with a toddler! Highly recommend staying at the Camano Beach House.

Peace and Tranquility

As soon as you walk in the door and reach the kitchen/living room area, you are immediately mesmerized by the amazing, unobstructed water views. This property is furnished with very nice decorative touches. Continue upstairs to the primary bedroom and enjoy the water views from the bed or the comfy chairs at the end of the bed. Venture outside and walk down a few steps for a stroll on the beach. This property is right on the water. We enjoyed several amazing sunsets. We even enjoyed watching a lighting and thunderstorm one of the days. If you're looking for a nice, relaxing getaway, this is the property for you! Lastly, Tom, our host was the best! Checking in as needed, providing recommendations for things to do and always responsive if we had any questions. We left this property feeling relaxed and we would definitely book this property again!

Perfect Beach House

We brought our 3 and 6 year old to the ocean for the first time and stayed in the beach house, it was perfect! Walking along the beach and collecting shells was a highlight for all. Sunset was amazing! We will be back!
